It helps you stay hydrated and prevents dry mouth, which can lead to cavities. However, remember that sports drinks, particularly those with sugar are just as bad for your oral health as soft drinks. Hydrate with plenty of water. . 2Before the vacation for which you’ve carefully planned every detail, be sure to take care of any dental concerns or problems. Treating a dental emergency during your vacation will waste your valuable time away, and make for an unpleasant trip. . 3Though you may not be playing team contact sports like football, other summer sports activities can come with the same dental risk. A mouth guard can help prevent damage to teeth during a fall or accident. . 4We all love a cool, refreshing summer drink, which is often filled with ice. Chewing on ice can chip teeth, break a filling or restoration, and cause other dental problems. .

Our safe-dent program protocols for welcoming you back: Enhanced patient protection measures: All of our staff members have upgraded their protective gear. This includes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all appointments. Between patients, we clean, disinfect rooms and all surfaces, and sterilize instruments as always. Pre-appointment screening: We pre-screen patients in advance as well as the day of appointment for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors to ensu...re our clinic stays COVID-free! We also screen our team members daily. Air filtration (HEPA): We have placed high efficiency air filtration systems in each room to ensure air quality is sanitary and for aerosol producing procedures. This increases safety from germs and other pollutants. We ask that all of our patients with appointment wait in their vehicle upon arrival until they are waved into the office. Masks are required to enter into the office at this time.

Dr. Choi and his staff are working hard to create a safe atmosphere for our patients that are in need of treatment. We will be opening our doors on Monday June 8th with all of the necessary precautions to keep our patients and staff safe.
