"Can adopting a healthier diet help fight prostate cancer? That's a question men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer often ask their doctors. Several studies have shown that in countries where men eat a typical "Western" diet containing a large amount of meat, the incidence of prostate cancer, especially aggressive prostate cancer, is higher than in countries where plant-based foods are a primary part of the diet. Unfortunately, these studies weren't designed to prove cause ...and effect. So for now, definitive answers about prostate cancer and diet aren't yet in although researchers are actively studying this topic. Investigators launched a federally funded national study to see whether a diet that's higher in plant-based foods and lower in animal-based foods than the typical Western diet would help control tumor growth in men with early-stage prostate cancer. The Men's Eating and Living (MEAL) study included men 50-80 years old who had small, low-grade tumors and who opted to have their condition followed closely (active surveillance) rather than undergoing immediate treatment. The researchers randomly assigned participants to telephone counseling about how to achieve the dietary MEAL goals or to a control group that received standard dietary advice for Americans. The study participants in the MEAL group were instructed to eat nine servings of fruits and vegetables daily significantly more than the three to four servings consumed each day by the typical American man as well as two servings of whole grains and one serving of beans or other legumes. The participants in the control group received information regarding a standard healthy diet. Here's what the MEAL eating plan looks like:" https://www.health.harvard.edu//can-diet-help-fight-prosta #naturopathicmedicine #naturopath #naturalmedicine #drceaserwinnipeg #drceaserwpg #alternativecancertreatments #cancertreatment #alternativebreastcancertreatments #breastcancer #breastcancercare #breastcancerfighter #prostatecancer #naturopathictreatments #hyperthermiatreatment #oncotherm #hyperthermia #prp #plateletrichplasma #prolotherapy

So, one of the questions we get is, why don't medical doctors talk about naturopathic medicine, or even refer patients to naturopathic doctors or chiropractic doctors? It's mostly because of the knowledge of natural medicines, which is not taught in medical school. It's taught in naturopathic medical school, and it's taught in chiropractic schools, as well. But the training here in North America is very different from what you would get in Germany, as far as training in natu...ral medicine. The medical doctors in Germany do get the training in natural medicines, and that's why it's not unheard of to prescribe something like St. John's Wort or something that might be a natural medicine. And, their colleges also don't have a hard time with the use of those medicines. A lot of the pioneers have come from Germany. Like the Benedict Lust, who is the first naturopathic doctor, is from Germany. A lot of the pioneers who we use, whether it's for the hypothermia or mistletoe, often come from Germany. Now, there's a new pioneering technique that's from Doctor Weber about using Endo Laser, which is using these different colors to treat ailments from cancer to pain. And, they're quite powerful. And, that's a brand new therapy that is coming out now. And, it comes from another German doctor who has had training right off the bat. When you've had training right off the bat in natural medicine, you think that this is valid. And it is valid. It's very valid. It's very well-tested. However, when it's not in your training, the idea is that if it's not in this big training that I've done, then it can't be valuable. But the exact opposite is true. It's just the placement of where the colleges are. If they're in North America, they just don't have that. If they're in Europe, and especially in Germany, then there is that as part of the training.

It is proven that heat can kill cancer cells and damage the blood vessels inside of tumours. Hyperthermia treatment uses high temperatures to treat such areas. The damage to cells during hyperthermia can make them more sensitive to the effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy so these treatments work better, according to the Canadian Cancer Society. Loco-regional hyperthermia (LRHT) generates heat within a localized area of the body, such as a tumour with radio frequenci...es. These frequencies generate deep tumour heating to fever temperatures and cannot be achieved with radiant heat or infrared saunas. Loco-regional hyperthermia has a goal temperature of 41C to 45C that is sustained for approximately one hour overtop/around the affected area. Most of the body remains at the average core temperature with just the tumour increasing in temperature. Whole-body hyperthermia (WBHT) generates heat throughout the body and attempts to reach a temperature balance between 38.5C to 40.5C through vasodilation or an increase in the size of blood vessels. Hyperthermia treatment is a common oncology practice in Europe and Mexico. While not widely offered in Canada and the U.S., Winnipeg’s Centre for Natural Pain Solutions delivers hyperthermia cancer treatment with the Oncotherm EHY-2000, a leading hyperthermia machine. (PICTURE?) Frequently Asked Questions: What will I feel during the hyperthermia treatment? Sometimes patients feel the warmth from the probe during the session. Most of the time, little is felt due to the cool bladder that is under the probe protecting the skin. Sometimes there is heat felt on the skin and the probe is adjusted. How do I prepare for my treatment? It is recommended that patients have a meal, without much water/liquid, before treatment. Wear comfortable loose clothing without metal. All metal and jewelry should be removed including necklaces, rings, earrings and belts. Gowns can be used in the Oncotherm room during treatments. After treatment, patients are capable of driving and carrying on about their day. What might I experience after the treatment? It is common for patients to feel a subtle deep warmth after treatment. Will this eliminate cancer in my body? Various studies from hospitals in Germany show a benefit for virtually every cancer to different degrees. Because each patient’s condition is different, it cannot be guaranteed this treatment is a cure for everybody’s cancer.
