COVID19 UPDATE ON SERVICE Chiropractors are approved to begin the return to work process, under certain conditions and employing specific safety guidelines, per the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO). Simply put: we are BACK! And Ontario chiropractors are ready to have your back, once again.... As I currently work at two different clinics, my return to work timeline will depend on the implementation and review of the suggested policies below at each clinic. That being said, I will NOT personally be returning to work until each clinic has prepared as they see fit - but I am hopeful that I will be able to announce updated office hours soon! STAY TUNED for my personal return to work announcement. Just like any other business that is re-opening at this time, the process will be gradual. Priority will be placed on patient and practitioner safety, with new policies and measures implemented. This could include medical masks, sanitization stations, regimented cleaning protocols, active and passive screening measures, plexiglass barriers, distancing policies, and more. That being said - the excitement is real to return to work. Congratulations to all of my colleagues who ceased chiropractic practice, stayed home, and stayed safe when it was not easy to do so. As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times together, I look forward to Ontario #chiropractors maintaining high safety standards to lower the risks of potential infectious disease spread. As always, patient safety and well-being should remain top of mind!!!

COVID-19 UPDATE ON SERVICE: As all of you are aware, the situation is evolving rapidly these last few days surrounding the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) has made a clear and decisive recommendation to suspend all non-essential chiropractic services until further notice. ... As a result of this, it’s with a heavy heart that I am suspending my chiropractic services at Plattsville Natural Health Clinic and pt Health Stratford, until further notice and will re-evaluate weekly as the COVID-19 situation evolves. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me thus far and to re-assure patients that I will return to work as soon as it is safe for you and for me to do so. I look forward to seeing all of you back in the office as soon as possible to continue your individual care. Should you have further questions or need immediate or emergency treatment, please contact the clinics directly. As healthcare professionals, it’s our duty to protect the health and safety of our patients in as many ways possible. Listening to the government’s advice on evidence-based recommendations, this means supporting the social distancing call to action. It’s not easy to forego social interactions, visiting family members, or work but if given the option, we must take it. The control that we do have is prevention, and any healthcare worker will tell you this is the easiest and most efficient route to take if you’re given a choice ahead of disease or infection. I also urge you to reach out to your elderly family members, friends, or those who may feel especially vulnerable or isolated. Connect with them. Re-assure them. And help them, where and when you can, without putting their safety in danger. In light of some recent updates, I wanted to ensure that you’re up to date with the most recent information from both clinic teams. ptHealth Stratford has opted to remain closed until the end of April. ... Plattsville Natural Health Clinic has not decided on a potential reopening date yet, but remains closed indefinitely. I hope that you’re all staying home as much as you can and staying healthy.
