"How can I get pregnant faster?" "Why is it so hard?" "Why me?" Infertility is a brave, difficult, overwhelming journey. Getting pregnant and having a baby should be the easiest, most natural thing in the world. After all - successful fertility is how we all got here! Yet for 1 in 6 couples today, it doesn't "just happen" and we need to get to the bottom of "why" that is, so that we can help you choose the right treatment plan for you.... With the Well Conceived Fertility Method, we've helped countless women and couples strengthen their 9 Pillars of Fertility Success to help them optimize their conditions for healthy pregnancy. Walking with you through our 6-step process, we work from our core values: Your personal empowerment, and your baby's future health. We understand how isolating, frustrating and heartbreaking this journey can feel. We fully believe your results can change, with time and focus and support, and we don't want you to have to go it alone. If you're ready for a baby and you'd like more support, simply email us at fertility at tworivershealth dot ca or book a Conception Confidence Call through our web site (link in bio). On the call, we'll hear you and meet you right where you're at, and find out if we're a good fit to work together, toward your most ultimate goal.

We’re in a phase where my baby needs me more during the days...he’s needing lots of hugs and carries and nursing-while-napping these days. We have started teething and he’s in a growth spurt - when we woke this morning he seemed more like a boy than a new baby somehow! As a highly sensitive, high-achieving woman, I’m used to feeling everything deeply and driving myself focusedly, taking control of my time and circumstances wherever possible. Nothing proves we are not in co...ntrol like motherhood in a pandemic. But we were never in control. So thank you, baby and lockdown, for fully revealing the necessity of radical unconditional love as being the main medicine for the stresses of our days, the stories of our inner critics, the magnifying glass over all our flaws and mistakes, so that we can practice finally offering loving kindness to ourselves, allow there to be enough and to be joyful, even though those difficult feelings do come along for the ride. This week I started audio streaming Real Love by Sharon Salzberg. Highly recommended to all you amazing womxn wherever you’re headed in your journey today. May we be happy. May we feel peaceful. May we know Love.

For some, pregnancy just happens. For others, it’s not so easy. There are many reasons why our natural ability to have babies gets blocked. Every step you take to understand and overcome these hidden obstacles is a step closer to holding your heathy, happy baby in your arms. It takes about 3 months for an egg to complete its development and be ready for fertilization.... It takes about 3 months to make healthy new sperm that are capable of accomplishing that fertilization. And it takes about 3 months to better prepare our body for pregnancy. We all hope having a baby will happen easily. Almost like oops! Like magic! But for 1 in 6 couples - nearly 50 million people right now - it doesn’t just happen. Whether it’s been years of trying or you’re just starting out, the Well Conceived Fertility Method is designed to bring you at least 80% closer to having your healthy, happy baby home in your arms. Bringing together the knowledge from hundreds of research studies, natural healing wisdom, a passion for empowered self care and a decade of helping countless happy people create their families, we are soon opening doors to the next iteration of this program - all online and available to you wherever you are in the world. To get on the wait list, or apply to work 1:1. together, grab the link in my bio or DM me to set up a Conception Confidence Call and find out if we’re a fit to do some work together. I’ve helped many women and couples transform their results. It may require time and focused changes, but I don’t want you to give another month up to only hoping and wishing. If you’re ready for a baby and would like more support, book a call with me or my team today and we will walk with you, step by step this season, as you journey toward your ultimate dream.

Behind the scenes of getting one #babysfirstchristmas family pic (swipe right to get the gist) May you and your loved ones make beautiful Christmas memories in all the ways available this year. At the holidays we tend to see our lives through the lens of what we believe should be. The trap of comparison is not only a lie it can lead to awful feelings of sadness, depression, jealousy, feeling lesser-than. ... With our new baby my husband and I and our families are clearly and joyously blessed. Having him is a bright light that’s eclipsed the pains and losses of 2020. This year for everyone, around the world will feel different, and by allowing different to also be good or even enough we can embrace the joy and personal messages we need from our traditions and celebrations. Wherever and however you’re celebrating, May you have peace, joy and abundance. Together, let’s feel all the feelings and finish 2020 strong. Much love Elizabeth

Before you let your limiting beliefs talk you out of believing in your fertility future, please pause with me: I want to remind you that... Yes, there IS hope. Did it feel like there was a 2020 baby boom?...like EVERYONE was getting pregnant and having babies, except you?... I want to reassure you, fertility is not a zero-sum game. (Her wins do NOT mean your loss). In fact, what if we could see other peoples' fertility success - blooming bellies, beautiful babies - as *SIGNS* affirming our own fertility dreams are just about to become reality? In this interview on the #EvolvingAgeless podcast, I share what the science (and just a little bit of woo) have to say about your fertility potential in your late 30s and 40s. (Note this episode was recorded during my healthy pregnancy...which led to my healthy baby...in my 40th year!). If you need a vote of confidence on your fertility journey, your pregnancy, your birth, your postpartum, or your new role as a mom, I will share some with you! Send me a DM and let me know what's been most challenging on your #pathwaytoparenthood so far. I will do everything I can to support you and help you find your next, right steps.

Things I was NOT expectingwhen I was expecting. When I became pregnant, did I expect a freakin’ pandemic was about to shut down the world as we know it - including my beloved business? No.... Did I expect I’d be attending my prenatal visits on my own? No. Did I expect to encounter hot debate about whether birthing women would be "allowed" to have the labour support of their choice? No. Was I expecting to be without access to the supports I would have planned for myself for postpartum? No. Would I do it all again in a heartbeat? YES! If you need a boost of confidence for your fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum, I will share some with you! Being my baby's mom is the best thing I’ve ever done. He makes my heart ACHE (in a good way) with the hugest love I've ever felt. He brings love, joy and delight to the world just by being. I’ve lived one lifetime without him and now can’t imagine life without him. If you or someone you love has been struggling to conceive, and even worried whether it’s okay to get pregnant and have a baby in this uncertain time...Please let's have a chat. I understand that your desires and dreams don’t simply vanish because aspects of our way of living have gone into crisis. I believe it would be unfair on yourself to put everything you're wanting on hold out of anxiety or uncertainty or lack of cheerleader. Soon, we’ll be opening doors to our Well Conceived Fertility program now fully online, so you can access it anywhere you are in the world. For details and to get on the wait list, grab the link in my bio or DM me to let me know you’re ready for 2021 to be YOUR year for babymaking.

Christmas Star Did you see it? Did you feel it?... In my previous post I shared what this #solstice and #christmasstar are inviting for me. At this seasonal turning point - the days will start getting longer from here!! - what’s arising for you? What is ready to be Released and what would you like to Receive? Share in Comments to let me know #health #restoration #freedom #prosperity #clarity #purpose #connection #congruence #confidence #calm

When you are doing your best to @mariekondo your house and your newborn has already outgrown his newborn clothes and you cryyyy

Dr. Elizabeth Cherevaty ND, Fertility & Feminine Leadership 09.11.2020

What if we're blocking the very things we want? There's a lot of conversation about #manifesting today, given the symbolism of the #wintersolstice and #christmasstar we're due to enjoy this evening. But in my experience, as a woman there's a step that's too often missed before we can actually allow one of the most challenging pieces of the #womanifestation puzzle to take place. Before we can RECEIVE, we need to RELEASE. By letting go of what's no longer needed, we create spa...ce for what we actually desire. Letting go is hard because we have the impression that by doing so we’re losing something. Letting go can be painful because we feel like we’re giving up on something or someone we care about. The whole concept of letting go triggers our fears and scarcity. Releasing something that no longer serves with gratitude a la @mariekondo is an action supported by purpose and intention. e.g.: Thank you, silk dress, for the beautiful dates we went on together. Thank you, papers filled with brainstorming ideas, for helping me gt my program out there to help people. Thank you, dozens of books, for the inspiration and information! Go ahead now and be a part of the next reader’s journey! Maybe in 2020 you’ve lost a LOT. Maybe you lost a sh** ton of money. Maybe you lost your entire business. Maybe you lost your job. Maybe you lost a loved one. Maybe you lost a pregnancy. Maybe you lost a sense of connection, purpose or self worth. While loss feels like something is taken away against our will, letting go...Releasing...feels empowered because it is hard, but still our choice. Earlier this year, I released my beautiful dream clinic AND Received the energy I needed to bring my healthy baby boy into the world and my dream #empoweredbirth. I released the hustle that had me anxiously convinced I had to do everything I could to launch something before the holidays. (That hustle was driven by scarcity). AND Received several thousand dollars of outstanding payments. I released the feeling that Christmas has to play out a certain way AND Received simple yet joyful ways to celebrate our baby’s 1st Christmas. Continued in Comments:

Beautiful #postpartum gift from Anna! As a trained herbalist and future osteopath I’m very excited to enjoy this forest infused healing salt bath and to nurture this new botanical addition here at home Our culture enthusiastically celebrates #newbaby (which is great!) but sometimes leaves the transformation of a #newmom unacknowledged. I’ve been blessed to have many friends and family check in with me (about how I’m doing as much as baby) and a husband who’s been incredibly nurturing and supportive. #blessed #grateful #thankyou When you became a new mom, did you feel nurtured? Was it available to you to you nurture yourself, advocate for your needs?

#birthpartner love We ended up having our #maternityphotography 2 days before I went into labour. Surprise!!... So glad we captured these late third trimester moments. Pregnant to not pregnant Literally overnight - the most dramatic transformation and I’m still processing it. My husband @mike.levy.bahis was the most solid, steady, sweet and supportive #birthpartner - I cannot fathom the birth without his continuous loving presence. Together with our doula andndear friend @drsarahhawthorn.nd and the exceptional care of @guelph_midwives we are now nearly a full lunar month from our baby’s birth day and life has truly and magnificently and challengingly and heart-meltingly transformed. #babymooning Our first 10 days have gone by so fast! We have been learning a lot of new skills (like breastfeeding, and staying in bed even though there are things to be done...) I’m so grateful for my healthy baby and the sweet rest we are endeavouring to get each day/night.... So grateful for all the support from friends and family and my IG /FB community as I experience being a #postpartum mom for the first time. We have been taking short walks which helps my mobility, healing and mood. Grayson seems to sleep better on the days we walk. It is an active choice to #babymoon - basically allow myself to do little besides care for baby and allow my husband and others to care for me - and I’m really proud we’re doing it! We’ll be around soon to share more about how we’re navigating and nurturing this postpartum time for both of us. Much love!

Friendly reminder (I need it too - 9 weeks left in 2020 and we want to take it BACK!! From a health and well-being perspective!) Yes it is effort to set aside time from work or home or kids, yes everyone will be masked up, and yes YOU are worth it!! I’ve tried to be a model for good #selfcare by having #postpartummassage and a call with my mentor. Every year a few of our clients tell me they feel disappointed they let benefits expire on Dec 31st because they were too busy t...o get in and focus on them selves. We can help you avoid this kind of disappointment and feel great instead! Use the link in bio or DM us to get booked in PS Ask is about our special #womenswellness packages! Something wonderful happened! Our baby boy, Grayson Stephen, surprised us with a little early arrival, just in time to give us the best Thanksgiving we could imagine! Already this sweet, sensitive and strong soul has transformed me.... We’re #babymooning & will share more updates soon!

Dr. Elizabeth Cherevaty ND, Fertility & Feminine Leadership 07.10.2020

During my pregnancy I’ve said no at least as much as I’ve said yes. No to expanding commitments even though I was being presented with interesting opportunities. No to pregnancy interventions recommended solely based on my age.... No to a dating ultrasound (not necessary because #charting ). No to a scheduled induction at 39 weeks. No to medications and injections that are standard offerings but not relevant for me. No to stress. No to drama. No to fear. Pregnancy created a filter that facilitated saying No because there was only so much I could take in and take on from out there while so much was happening in here. I want to thank an amazingly supportive and empowering network of friends, colleagues, mentors, and other women who reminded me it’s totally okay to say No. To my husband who loved me through these radical acts of self care, and courage to release yet more layers of identity wrapped around doing and achieving that ever increasing more. I’ve always believed the process of becoming a mother should be an incredibly empowering one. Marking my 10th anniversary of practice as a #naturopathicdoctor focused in serving into the needs of women and families with fertility, pregnancy, both, postpartum and pediatric care I couldn’t think of a more fitting way than to embrace my own journey into motherhood, and share what I can through the experience. In a culture where high achieving women feel pressured to do it all, who gives you an encouraging dose of permission to say No? Tag them in comments to give them a high five for the inspiration!

I haven’t eaten so much CEREAL since I was a kid! All through my pregnancy cold breakfast cereals have been something I crave and can actually eat. In my 3rd trimester I can definitely grownupify my cereal: Top up w nuts and pumpkin seeds for more minerals - calcium, magnesium, iron & zinc - I found good fresh, #organic ones @goodnessme_naturalfoodmarket #guelph... Have a few bites high-protein first eg little bit of fish, eggs or turkey so #blood sugar is anchored and this carbier part of breakfast feels like dessert I go all #glutenfree & low to no added sugar bc #sensitive Add dates! A source of iron, sweet soft Deglet dates are my favourite @pranasnacks Did you know eating 6 dates per day can help to soften the cervix in preparation for birth? I like when #evidencebasedmedicine is this delicious to practice! What’s your fave breakfast right now? #evidencebasedbirth #nourishyourbody #healthypregnancy #pregnancysnacks

#birthprep companions...I feel like I’ve been preparing for this birth for over a decade. (But in a more concentrated way the last couple of weeks!) I became passionate about safe, #empoweredbirth while still a naturopathic med student @myccnm My birth and doula work was inspired by a calling to serve into natural, vibrant health for babies and children by supporting and protecting the childbirth experience, and equally by friends and patients who’d experienced suffering and... trauma in the context of their baby’s birth - which was heart-wrenching and absolutely unacceptable to me to allow to happen to one. More. Woman and baby and family. Although my work alone would never be remotely enough...and while women continue to experience deeply disempowering experiences at their births...there are steps and steps being continually taken toward a much better birthing world for women and their babies and families. There is a birth pool at the hospital. OBs are encouraging their patients to consider home birth with midwives. Antibiotic eye drops for every baby regardless of mother having an infection are no longer applied to baby’s eyes on threat of a call to family and children’s services. Women are asking for and having their power and preferences respected by birth professionals. None of these examples is universal and I recognize my privilege in bearing witness to these improvements in our community #guelph, with our patients @tworivershealth and in my own prenatal experiences so far. We have a lot of work to do in our community, country and globally, yet it is important to celebrate and affirm each and every positive birth experience, every ecstatic birth, every way and mode throughout which a woman births her baby and feels empowered in this exceptional rite of passage. These books and others have helped me and my patients see the *different* ways childbirth can be, other than what’s still conventionally presented and culturally expected. What was your favourite resource to help you prepare for your baby’s birth? Share in comments below #loveyourlabour #healthymamahealthybaby #birthbooks

Oh! And how we breathe.... Being 8 months pregnant and working with a has really brought my attention to my breathing on a whole new level. It’s really important to me that my breathing serves me and my baby during our upcoming labour too! @brownroots_baby Keeping the windows open in my office, adjusting my posture to create space for my lungs and belly to soften and expand, and going for a bike ride @downtownguelph, swim or yoga class @movati_guelph have ... all helped me breathe easier and that feels sooooo good. I ask my patients to check in with their breathing regularly through the day. Day when you open the fridge or go to the washroom! Or set a reminder on your phone to ask yourself, how’s my breathing? Where can I soften? (Learned this simple habit from my ND ) Do you do regular breath work, or check in from time to see whether you’re holding your breath, and where you can create space for a little more fresh air? The moment we do, the more at ease our bodies and minds will feel

Dear friends got married at our place this weekend & we felt so happy to bask in the love! It hasn’t been every day of this pregnancy I’ve been up to having my picture taken, but this day I was energized by so much love and friendship and beauty & all I f it swirling around our home! Pregnancy makes us more sensitive, but I know it’s a thing in our culture to offer unsolicited comments to women about their pregnant bodies. One thing that seems to be different since the pan...demic is I’ve hardly experienced any unsolicited belly touches from strangers, as people are generally physically more spaced apart. I think the female body is astounding and miraculous in all the things it can do, all the transformations it undergoes especially to bring through and nurture new life! While I’ve had my share of struggles with the transformations, especially at the beginning of my pregnancy, I’m feeling so incredibly blessed to be the mother of this strong resilient child and after going through so many challenges in life and business the past several months, I’m ready to dwell in awe about what’s happening with and through this 40-years young female body of mine! How are you feeling about your miraculous body today? Share with me in Comments with emoticons!

Your family's back-to-school health is on our minds! We've been hearing a lot from our community of naturally healthy parents & kids that part of planning for success this coming school year needs to focus on health & wellbeing, especially: #immunesupport The cool thing about kids' health is that they are naturally so vital, it's simple, gentle medicine and lifestyle habits that we've seen absolutely transformative in a child's (and entire family's) trajectory during the s...chool year. When we want to build a healthy immune system, make sure to focus on the foundations: #stressreduction #healthyeating #goodsleep #outdoorexercise #goodsupplements Each of these foundations is an essential cornerstone of a resilient immune system that can respond efficiently to infections we will all inevitably be exposed to. Here are some tips to make this coming school year a resilient one: Talk it out. This year, kids are facing higher levels of stress including changes to daily routines and expectations at school. Take the time during a family walk or dinner to discuss what your child can expect, and give them opportunities to talk about what's new or different and how they're feeling. Grow your inner circle. We're designed to be creatures of connection - our brains are literally designed to thrive in cooperation and collaboration. We're not meant to go through challenges alone. Reach out to friends and neighbours in your child's school community and get into a judgement-free circle of support you can give and take within. Take it outside. Research discussed in one of our favourite books, Your Brain On Nature, shows the benefits of outdoor exercise can’t be understated. Whether you shake it off with some backyard dancing, enjoy a family bike ride, or get into some autumn gardening together, regular moderate movement also supports our immune system’s ability to resist illness. Over the past few weeks we’ve been speaking with many of our #Guelph families about natural ways to set the stage for the healthiest possible school year. We’d love to continue the conversation with you! We will help you get a personalized plan in place for the school year. Book online with one of our naturopathic doctors and we will be looking forward to supporting you in your goals this year! Video and phone consultations available.

Landed! You know it’s the right decision when it feels like coming home. We can arrive home to our body any time...and it sure helps when you also feel this way in your biz.... Deciding on a big move in life or biz is never going to be without risk, roadblocks, or really rough passages of the heart. But none of those things mean the move you’re making is wrong or that you should abort your mission of doing the best you can for you and everyone affected by the decision, with the information and resources available to you at the time. Thanks to our first amazing clients who’ve come in for care this week, to our awesome team @tworivershealth @courtneyjadehealth @flowofficewisdom Coleen & Courtney RMTs and @heidinaturopathicdoctor for making it as smooth and easy as humanly possible. That feeling of Ease...is another sign your hard-fought decision is right. Now, to rest a bit. Have a rejuvenating #longweekend everyone! See you here again next week!!

Saying goodbye to a special place we’ve filled with healing light and love. This major life & business change is one I’ve been processing emotionally for a long while, completing physically for a shorter while and embodying spiritually, for an even shorter while (so far). Profoundly challenging circumstances, many anxious nights, intuitive nudges, a few panic attacks, advice from my #innercircle and a whole lot of grace, love and surrender have landed us right where we are to...day: A moment of peaceful closure and proud acknowledgment of how we showed up, how we served and how we grew as humans, as care-centred #femaleleaders, how we nurtured a community of incredible people and families in #guelph and beyond. This legacy will only continue in a more focused form. We bring the same big hearts for helping people live their healthiest, most vibrant lives, and raising up a resilient and thriving next generation, into different homes. This was our clinic home for 3 years. As I gathered up my final few #plantbabies, admired the waning sunlight through my office windows, and turned off the lights one last time, I said goodbye, and #thankyou. Through the sadness of letting go of a bold, beautiful dream I believed in, I felt the confidence of my created path being just right for me, my family, our team and our community of care @tworivershealth We will most certainly be okay! And we will sincerely look forward to continuing all our important work together - starting TOMORROW at our new micro practice location at 231 Woolwich St. alongside my dear friend, fellow ND and life coach @heidinaturopathicdoctor Have you ever had a change brought about in your biz that you didn’t expect or want, but realized you needed to go through it? How did you know it was the right decision for you and your biz? Are you facing a major shift right now and want a fellow #femaleentrepreneur to connect with? Comment below or send me a DM. I’d love to hear what’s next for you in life and livelihood. You have what it takes, and you’re not alone. To my amazing colleagues, Thank you. Here we go, next step forward. See more

JOY We had a lot of fun celebrating summer birthdays of me & my beautiful nieces. My hubs and sis @adventuremindedmama organized a PlayDay with games and prizes all day In a year when we’ve all felt family and friend deprived...it was so healing and restorative on the level of my soul to spend such QT with loved ones.... Especially the littlest loved ones including this sweet girl who’s being presented with the Community Spirit award on our PlayDay. It doesn’t take anything commercial or costly to generate joy! Love and connection and play are the ingredients And when shared, it multiplies! Where is your joy coming from today, this weekend? Share with us (and multiply it!) in Comments. See more

Oh no-no, Massive Obstacle #1008You’re not going to stop me from delivering what I’m here to give. Guiding a business through a pandemic is no joke. Making those tough calls (that are 100% up to you to make) is brave work. Staying congruent with your values, showing up for your people, and keeping your physical and mental health intact in a sea of change is a high calling.... There are times when being a #femaleleader or #fempreneur feels like living on a lonely island. It feels like no one (even your spouse or BFFs) could possibly relate to what it’s like to awaken every morning and go to sleep every night with the level of responsibility + risk you hold. Or what it’s like to have a vision you believe in from the depths of your soul, only to have it crumble under pressures you couldn’t have predicted, let alone controlled. Or how it feels to give everything you have to your calling, only to receive criticism from people you’ve been trying your very best to serve. The other day, my coach @innovationguelph remarked that they saw me as #resilient. Although the past few months have had their fair share of anxiety, vulnerability and uncertainty, I do feel blessed to have an underlying belief that yes, #Iamresilient. But what made me feel SO much more connected to my capacity to keep going, keep leading, keep creating, was when someone else also saw this in me. When we experience being seen by someone we know has had their own share of life experiences and biz wisdomIt allows us to (re)crystallize a positive belief about ourselves. We can reclaim that part of our identity that we need to take a deep breath, and take the next steps forward. I believe nothing is more powerful than our beliefs when it comes to being resilient in our brain, body and businesses. Our selfBELIEF might be the most effective business tool ever and it comes through community with others who get you, see you & love you through it. The value of being seen is healing, uplifting and encouraging. We need this through all the tough journeys of life, livelhihood and leadership.Tag someone who’s helped you reclaim your belief in your beautifully brave Self!

How to get pregnant. ??? It should be the *easiest* thing in the world, but it's never been more difficult. As timeless as the desire to have a baby,, and as devastating as infertility has always been, the world we are living in - and trying to conceive in - today, is DIFFERENT from the one our ancestors lived in. It’s more challenging to get pregnant, and have a healthy baby than ever before. ... In the past 50 years: Men's sperm counts have decreased by 50% (WHO). Over 85,000 synthetic industrial chemicals have been released into the environment. Hundreds of them have been detected in human tissues. Our food supply has changed drastically with the advent of genetic modification, industrial scale farming, widespread use of chemical pesticides and herbicides, and increased reliance on processed, refined versions of foods. We live faster-paced, yet more sedentary lifestyles than any prior generation. And research suggests that not only have infertility rates never been higher, but the current infertility rate of 1 in 6 couples is on the rise. Today, couples facing fertility challenges have a range of advanced medical and technological choices to help them conceive. This is wonderful! Yet our most advanced approach, IVF (in vitro fertilization), on its own only provides about a 30% chance of bringing home a baby after 4 cycles. I've always believed we can do better than this, and the integrative fertility care program I've developed over the past 10 years is designed to do just that. The Well Conceived Fertility Method helps women and couples increase their chances of bringing home their healthy, happy baby by 80%. We will walk you through our evidence-informed, fully supported 6-step process as you enhance your fertility, enrich your future baby’s health, and empower yourself through this most ultimate journey. Our holistic fertility care program is available to people virtually across Ontario, and #fertilitycoaching is available anywhere else you live globally. We’ve helped many people conceive and bring their beautiful babies home, even when other methods have failed. If you’re #tryingtoconceive this year & would like more support, book a free Conception Confidence Call to find out if we’re a fit. Visit www.tworivershealth.ca to book online. (Note: Call times are in Eastern (Toronto/NY) Time).

Gosh the 3rd trimester has its perks and pearls! Feeling stronger and more fluid in my body than ever in the pregnancy Enjoying super fresh local produce and first veggies from my garden Continuing to filter and focus on what’s really important to me and coming life with my baby Clarifying future plans for my biz while feeling so supported by my community... I felt coming into this year it was going to be a biggie! It’s had more than it’s fair share of challenges, uphill battles and heartbreaks. Being pregnant has given me full on permission to become even more in tune with my thought and emotional life, to process difficult things in my own pace, and to get really honest about who I am, what I want and need. To release complexity, accept no drama, and actually allow myself to walk a path of ease. Say what?? I’ve always been ready & willing to step up and fight for what as right, for my dreams, for people I advocate for. Many journeys and achievements in my life have been hard won. And our culture reinforces that anything worthwhile has to come with a FIGHT. It’s been a huge recent transformation for me as someone who’s been successful through long fought battles on many levels to accept that it’s okay to let it be EASY. For high-achieving women, allowing ourselves to be on a path of ease is, ironically, not easy. But this pregnancy has given me the blessing of an ultra-filter on what kind of inner world I want to create during this crucial time for his or her development. Easy doesn’t mean lazy. Easy doesn’t mean not putting goodness into the world. Easy doesn’t mean failing to help people. Easy doesn’t mean not caring deeply. Easy means I’m ready to feel fully good enoughso there’s just no need to fight for everything because everything is already here. I remember learning how to tread water, how it felt like such a struggle. Until one day my teacher said I could just relax and it would naturally happen. Now I can enjoy it for hours, it feels effortless. A pleasure! Considering how much energy goes into struggling, allowing for easy in biz and motherhood is probably the smartest way to go?!? I will keep you posted ;)

Adorable #sunflowers glowing their golden love! My dad always liked bright coloured flowers. Especially yellow. I like to think he’s checking out what’s growing in my gardens and enjoying along with me. Feels like this one’s sending me a #highvibe wink of optimism + fun to infuse into a challenging yet rewarding week.... Somehow she’s evaded the squirrels’ munchies, actually benefited from drowning rains, and stood up to a freakin’ tornado that literally touched down in our yard! What’s your week have in store, and what are the signs you’re being taken care of, no matter what?
