What to Expect: - Perform work as directed by on-site supervisor ... - Maintain and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Preform labourer duties with vacuum trucks and high-pressure equipment - Complete all required paperwork daily - Assist with job site preparation and other duties assigned Qualifications: - Must be bondable (CPIC will be required) - Own transportation and valid G liscence - Experience working at mine sites would be considered an asset - Physically and mentally fit for duty - Ability to work in all elements of weather conditions for extended periods of time - Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day - Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety-focused environment Experience: - Having work ed in a mine site industrial setting would be considered an asset - Good communication skills - Have the following site-specifics and in-docs would be considered an asset: - Vale’s Tier 1, 2, 3 - Vale’s ZES - Confined Space - Working at Heights Working Conditions: This position requires an individual to be able to work in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, dust, dirt, and wet conditions for extended periods of time. Physical Requirements: - You will be required to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl. - You must be able to lift to 50lbs - You must wear protective clothing such as respirators, safety glasses, coveralls, muckers and hearing protection. - Climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights.
