I am so excited to announce I will be officially opening my Salon June 1! I know to some of you this seems like a long time away but I still am making preparations to put safety first for myself, my family and all my clients. I will be working my hardest to possibly even start earlier! I will begin contacting people next week to set up appointment times beginning with the people who were cancelled first and so on down the list. Please be patient with me as I work to get ev...eryone scheduled in! All salons now have a strict set of guidelines to follow to ensure everyone’s safety. Please do not bring a guest with you to your appointment. I am only able to take one client at a time. I have hand sanitizer available, so feel free to use some on arrival. Face masks will not be provided for you, but if you choose to wear one, please ensure it is an "around the ear" mask. I have a mask for myself as well for your safety as well as my own. I ask you to please contact me upon arrival to make sure the previous client has finished and the salon is ready for your appointment. I will be taking extra time between clients to make sure my salon is adequately sanitized/disinfected. Each client will have neck strips, clean capes, towels, disinfected combs, brushes and all implements. Nothing that has touched another client will be used on you. I have bought extras of everything to make sure I will be screening ALL clients and asking questions about any recent travel and current health conditions or symptoms, so please don’t take it personally. If you have traveled within 14 days or do not feel well, please reschedule your appointment! I am required to refuse providing a service if you are not feeling well. Please know that I have spent my time off wisely, and have been properly trained (I have the certificates to prove it ) in disinfecting and sanitation recommendations (including specifically for COVID-19) If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at any time. Staying home saves lives!

Social distancing as a hairstylist is very difficult. I’ve had multiple people reach out to me to ask if I’m still open and working during these challenging times. I am still taking clients, however, I ask you to respect the guidelines from Health Canada. If you have been out of the country, please wait at least 14 days before coming for an appointment. ... If you are feeling ill at all, PLEASE reschedule and I will fit you in once you are feeling better and certain you are not dealing with COVID-19. I will also be following these guidelines myself and will contact you if there is a need to reschedule. I am a small business owner and work out of my house, so it is not just me you would be putting at risk. The health and safety of my family and all of my clients is extremely important to me. And also, I have Lysol wipes and toilet paper in the salon!! .
