How to prepare for your eyelash extension appointment... Applying a full set can take anywhere from 60 - 180 minutes depending on style of lashes desired, and is painless and very relaxing (you can even fall asleep). To prepare for you appointment:... It's advised to wash your hair as you will not be able to wet your eyelashes for 24 hrs. Wash off all eye makeup thoroughly. Do not use oil based makeup remover as eyes must be makeup and oil free. Residual oils and makeup will prevent the adhesive used from bonding and curing properly. It is acceptable to wear facial and brow makeup. Do not perm or curl your lashes before or after your appointment. Remove contact lenses. They can be put back after lashes are applied or just wear glasses to your appointment. Discontinue use of waterproof mascara 3 days prior to your lash appointment. Avoid oil based products on or around the eyes, and no heavy creams. Hold the caffeine 2-3 hours before appointment. Caffeine can make the eyes jittery. Arrive on time! Less cleaning = more time for lashes. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AND GIVING YOU DREAM LASHES!
