Sitting in our own bodies can sometimes feel tremendously challenging. At other times it can feel ecstatic. Being with close friends fills me with a deep, warm, tender, full vibration in my body. I’m longing for that these days. And I’m sitting in that. Listening to it. Asking it to tell me what it wants me to know. Taking a big deep breath literally into the spaces where I feel stagnated energy. I invite you to do this with me. Let’s sit in this together. My heart is right there with you.

Because honestly what else are you going to do tonight other than craft yourself a NYE crown and drink some local beer. My wish for you is as much peace that you can feel in your heart as possible in 2021!

Hugging each other tight reading about Monday’s lock down. Sending out virtual hugs to you all. We will get through this.

Hi pals! What a year, eh? Well I wanted to take a moment to say that I won’t be booking in anyone else until January - I’ve got a busy couple of week ahead of me and then I’m taking a bit of a break (like not really but at least a bit). I feel so lucky to be in healthcare and love what I do. Love all the people I get to meet. All the stories I get to hear. Guess you could say I’m hashtag blessed. Looking forward to serving you in 2021!

Wow it’s December. It’s that time of year where we start to slow down, turn inwards, hibernate. Are you someone that looks forward to winter? Or a winter hater? Personally I love the cold. But the grey can get hard. Finding ways to get those inside cozy feelings is so key. My dog Bo likes (aka tolerates) when I give him a good snuggle. Hope you’re all taking good care of yourselves!

Tea! Fall and winter are the time of year I love to drink all the teas. This is a delicious black tea from a local #hamont company @monarchteaco (no affiliation I just love their teas!). Tell me your favourite tea this time of year!

I have found that this pandemic has stripped away a lot of my creative juices, so I was excited when @nezicesteylovesontario challenged us to a pumpkin carving contest! Behold a magical pumpkin land, home to a good mouse witch and many other beloved creatures. Next on my list of ways to be creative is to learn a choreographed hip hop dance. Many moons ago I was in a University hip hop dance team (I know, I know...yes, it’s true). Any online dance class recommendations? How are you staying creative?

I’m having a hard time thinking of what to say in IG posts lately. Everyone is just to run down with the weight of our current reality. I don’t want to add a to-do list to your plate. I can’t even give out hugs! Sigh. Just wanted to say that yes your Naturopathic Doctors are still here and doing things like recommending herbs and supplements to help you feel better, running blood work to see if things are looking good (oh hey there low vitamin D), doing acupuncture to calm down your amped up nervous system. But really, maybe just try to go hang out around a bunch of trees, you’ll feel a bit better I think.

It’s true! We do! Or rather ... I do. Just trying to make your life a tiny bit easier

Oh hey, hi there. How are you doing? Lots of big feelings these days, eh? Ya, me too, me too. Don’t forget about the power of your breath! And nature! And hugs (in your bubble obvs). And buying fresh flowers. Oh! And checking in with your local ND. Ya, deep breath. We got this.

Doing some committee work with the #collegeofnaturopathsofontario via zoom (because was there even life before #zoom ??) - pretty sure nothing says professional like a toddler kitchen in the background, right?
