REMEMBER WHEN takes us to a time in 1973 when the Dresden Kinsmen Club presented their annual "Bring a Buddy Night.

What a great night for a parade. Big thank you to those who came out to enjoy a night of fun in Dresden. Here are the winners of this year's entries. Best use of lights goes to DNR, Best Commercial float goes to Ellis Motors and Best Non Commercial entry to Dresden Fire Dept. The Portraits of Honour Tour was a Kin Canada National Project. The tour featured a 10 x 50 hand-painted mural depicting the 158 Canadian soldiers, sailors an...d aircrew who lost their lives serving in Afghanistan. The mural was created by Cambridge (Preston) Kinsman and artist Dave Sopha took over 6,500 hours to paint. The coast-to-coast Canada tour launched on May 27, 2011 at CFB Trenton. The mural was housed in a specialized mobile display trailer that acted as a mobile gallery.
