How can acupuncture help with depression and anxiety? There are many reasons that someone might experience bouts of depression, anxiety or both. They range fro...m physical and emotional taxation, constitutional issues and imbalances which include overproduction or underproduction of aspects of brain chemistry. Chinese Medicine looks at these issues with the understanding that because there are many causes, one solution does not fit all problems. Acupuncture itself is very good at helping stimulate the body to perform the functions it is supposed to do. It can help to focus the body’s resources on problem areas. Specific points have the ability to deal with various issues that might arise, such as night sweats, heart palpitations, lethargy and sadness. Chinese herbs are a fantastic way to help boost nutrition in the body for specific conditions. If you are experiencing either of these conditions come in and have a chat with one of our highly trained TCM practitioners and get started on the road back to where you deserve to be. Book an appointment with us online at www.acupuncturecollective.ca or DM us! We’re located at 801-1039 17th Ave SW

We were honoured to be a part of the 10th annual Kidney March and to bring Acu to the therapy tent for the first time! Through over 100 acupuncture and massage ...treatments this weekend, we met SO many inspiring individuals. Kidney donors and recipients, kidney disease survivors and friends and family of all those affected. 1 in 10 Canadians have kidney disease and each day 15 people learn their kidneys have failed. The money raised at Kidney March supports prevention, lifesaving research, patient programs, kidney kid's camp and organ donation initiatives. Congrats on reaching the finish line today AND beating your $1,000,000 fundraising goal at $1,171,000 raised!!

We are currently looking for people who have experienced a stroke to participate in a 12 week study on the effects of acupuncture on the arm and hand function. Eligible participants must be between 6-18 months post stroke with upper extremity impairment.
