If I ever need an example of a business that represents everything I love about Northern BC - Barkerville Brewing Co. is top of the list. I spent the afternoon with them yesterday, building out a short video and grabbing some photographs for their social media - and when you get a peak behind the curtain, you get to see a business that is rooted in its community and understands the importance of that relationship. I can't wait to show you guys some more from this day! Check out my story for a few frames from our video work as well.

Well. I can finally announce one of the coolest things to ever happen to me. I can let you all know I will be joining as an official Nikon Canada Z Creator. #ZCreator For those that have been following along this journey long enough, you’ll know I’ve been shooting Nikon cameras since I was 17. My first camera was a D3100, then a 5100, then my fated 7100 (whose time came too early thanks to an encounter with some concrete), and then professionally with 2 D750s, and NOW using ...their Z mirrorless system cameras I’ve had a Nikon camera in my hands for the better part of 13 years. What’s worth mentioning here is that you might think that one of the largest camera companies in the world wouldn’t give a second thought to partnering with someone like myself. But the truth is that the whole conversation has been incredibly human friendly people who actually heard out my pitch about Northern BC, and why I choose these cameras to show off our beautiful, hidden nook of Canada. Anyways you’re going to see some cool stuff this year from us. I promise you that I have massive plans for this partnership.
