In Canada, November is #fallsprevention month. There is a difference between falls and injurious falls. Don’t think that injurious falls only impact older adults and #seniors, all ages are at risk. Be prepared, be aware.

Wishing all of you a safe and #happydiwali This is a challenging time for all of us around the world, and of course we are sad we will not be able to celebrate this upcoming festive season as we would like. Protect yourself and your loved ones so that we may enjoy festivities like we once did in the future. ... Remember, after struggle and hardship, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. TIPS 1 Please wear a mask in enclosed settings or when you are in close proximity to others 2 Wash your hands often - get some fancy soap that smells good! 3 don’t touch your eyes nose or mouth without washing your hands first 4 Please avoid congregating with others and large gatherings - inside OR OUTSIDE 5 I know it’s the holidays, but PLEASE DO NOT SELF INVITE YOURSELVES into someone’s home. They may be trying to socially distance, but find it awkward to say NO. have a lot of patients who are expressing their frustration over this. 6 If you experience symptoms of #covid or think you’ve been in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19 then get tested and/or self isolate. Please take these precautions seriously Let’s all keep each other safe so that we can somewhat enjoy the upcoming festive season
