Just an update regarding the latest restrictions. Chiropractic services are still open and are operating according to the pandemic guidelines established by our College. Please call to make an appointment as walk ins are not permitted. Thank you.
What??? Are they saying neck misalignment might be the problem? Read this article before it gets taken down. https://www.tsn.ca/hendrix-lapierre-the-ultimate-draft-wild
We often take the simple things in life for granted. A patient of mine is spending a lot of time reading lately. I asked her if that was always the case. She replied that she had to quit because of her head injury, but since she's been adjusted, she's able to focus and read again. Imagine the feeling of not knowing if you could concentrate enough to read a page on a book. Depressing. Now she's making up for lost time. This is just another reason why I do what I do.
Another week has gone by since we re opened and we've had a lot of new patients come in. Super happy to see the improvement and do my part to keep the economy rolling.
Just want to update my patients. We're fully up and running. We've instituted all the practical and effective measures we need and things are working smoothly. As a patient, your side of the experience should remain as good as before with a few minor inconveniences. The most frequent phrase I've heard in the last two weeks? Thank God you're open again!
Great news! We're officially open again. We have everything in place to keep you safe. Please call the office and we'll get you set up.
Just want to update everyone again. The clinic is still closed according to government public health order. We are allowed to see urgent, critical or emergent care. Please contact us if you need help and we will discuss your problem to see if it requires care. The first thing we want to do is keep you safe and if your problem can be helped at home, we'll give you instructions for that too.
Although the clinic is closed to regular visits, we are available for emergent/critical/urgent care. We also understand that these issues have no set time to happen which is why I will try my best to see those cases from Monday to Saturday.
We are open to see critical/ugent/emergt patients. We don't want people to have to go to the emergency room to get help if it can be done here.
Just a reminder that we are available to see acute and sub acute emergent conditions. If you have any doubt as to whether or not you fall into those categories, please call me. I am familiar with your condition and the impact it has on your life. We take every reasonable precaution to provide a safe environment for your care should you need to come in.
Just to let everyone know. My governing body has asked me to close the clinic to regular care. I can still see you for treatment if you fall into one of the following categories: 1. You are suffering from an acute condition where you would be severely physically limited from basic daily activities without chiropractic care. 2. You have a sub-acute condition that if left untreated would make you vulnerable to an acute flare-up that could leave you severely physically limited from basic daily activities.
Clinic is open, staff and patients are all screened for their temperatures in addition to reduced contact between patients. Things are going smoothly and we're happy to help.
If you feel you are a high risk group, please let us know and we can schedule your appointment so that you won't come into contact with many other patients.
Current temperatures. 36.7 and 37. We're good.
The short answer:yes.
The more you know about something, the better off you are going to be.
this is a very common issue among patients and I'm pleased to say it has a good success rate.
My distinguished colleague just had this paper published on post concussion syndrome. Congratulations Jim.
Long enough to forget you even had the injury maybe.
We see this problem frequently.
Notice, that I'm the first, and still only, practitioner to offer this in Alberta. Very proud to offer the first of it's kind treatment for neuropathy and chronic pain.
This is out of the USA, but let's hope we have different definitions in Canada.
We receive hundreds of referrals from dozens of well respected dentists with good results. TMJ issues are often related to the neck and require precise measurements, postural analysis and xray analysis in order to deal with these issues correctly. Now we know that TMJ issues are also related to other problems such as Apnea. As if TMJ issues weren't enough reason for a consultation, now we have this.
