Motivation Monday A good reminder. Mountains are climbed one step at a time. Just do what you can today and everyday. That is all anyone can ever do. Today, choose one thing. Do that thing.... #badasschiro #chiro #momlife #badass #motivation #motivationmonday

Sometimes it's loud. Sometimes it's quiet. It can affect the young. And it can affect the old. And in a time where our interactions with others are limited to protect our physical health, sometimes it's our mental health that suffers. One in five Canadians will experience a mental illness at some point in their life so while you may not experience mental illness first-hand, it is likely that you know someone who has or will have a mental illness. Most will be cautious about t...alking to a co-worker, friend or family member about the issue, let alone seek treatments. So let's open the conversation and stamp out the stigma! #BellLetsTalk On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing 5 for every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, social media video view and use of our Facebook frame or Snapchat filter. Join in on Thursday, January 28 to help create positive change.

Your evening-before reminder that tomorrow is Bell Let's Talk Day! Let's create a society that let's everyone have their voice heard and a society that provides every person with the access they need for their best health. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Self-care isn't always pretty. It can be pretty. But it definitely isn't always pretty. Self-care is about finding those things that put us in a position to achieve our goals. Sometimes self-care is about taking a break to recharge, picking the guitar, lighting a candle and reading a book. But sometimes self-care is putting in the sweat of a workout or setting aside time to cook a healthy meal. Find what works for you and try to plan some time this week for self-care. Find those things that help you enjoy life, not escape from it. Because life is meant to be enjoyed!

A great post to save for later!! While the snow's not falling right now, there's still a lot of winter left! Here's a few tips to prevent the classic snow shovelling aches and pains. Push snow when you can!... Lift light! Squat and lift with legs! Shove, don't throw snow! Hi! I am your friendly neighbourhood chiropractor. I have been in practice for almost 18 years most of those at 168 Sheppard Avenue West just a short walk from Yonge Street. I am a mom to a 9 year old son who is really into hockey, I love Wonder Woman, I love to run and have a goal of continually checking things off of my bucket list. I am passionate about helping people understand their bodies, recover from injuries or pain, and achieve wellness and optimal health. ...I have a family practice and see people from every age group with problems ranging from pain in the big toe, achy knees, colds and flu, back pain and sciatica, headaches and migraines just to name a few. I love to help pre- and post-partum moms with the aches and pains of pregnancy and breast feeding and am passionate about women’s health. Basically if it hurts, I can help you fix it and then keep it from coming back. I use a variety of hands on tools in my practice including deep tissue techniques, fascial release and hands on adjustments, exercise and core stabilization. I also treat people who don’t like what they think of traditional chiropractic treatment I promise I have a huge knowledge base and many tools in my tool belt to help people.
