As I reflect on the year 2020 coming to a close, I could only think of the Covid-19 pandemic. I never imagined that my clinic would be shut down for nearly 12 weeks, that I would be forced to furlough team members, that virtual visits are a poor substitute, and that foyer pick-up would become a thing. As a physician, I have always recognized the importance of good health. As a daughter and sister, I have firsthand experience with how illness can change everything. The Coronavirus made me aware how really lucky I am to be a dermatologist in this community.
