We are happy to announce that our office is back up and running! As per the Alberta Dental Association, we are still only able to see Emergency and Urgent Care patients. EMERGENCY AND URGENT CARE INCLUDE:... - If patient is in pain that can not be managed by over the counter medication - Severe bleeding - Managing active orthodontic treatment WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN COMING FOR YOUR ORTHODONTIC APPOINTMENT: - We ask that you please call the office when you arrive to let us know you are in the parking lot, we will give you the ok to come to the door or we will call you back if we are not ready for you yet. - At the door, an assistant will greet you and take your temperature. We ask that only the patient comes in the office as we are allowed a limited number of people in the clinic. If a parent needs to accompany the patient, they will need to fill out a consent form and have their temperature taken as well. We will email you a consent form when you book your appointment, if you happen to forget it, we will have extra at the door for you to fill out. - We ask that you arrive to the office with a mask or face covering. - After the appointment is over, the patient will leave with a written note for their parents explaining what we did that day and when we would like to see the patient next. - An assistant will escort the patient to the door where the parent will be waiting in the parking lot. We will provide you with more information as it becomes available. We are so excited to see all of your beautiful faces!!!

With all of the social media about the pandemic these last few weeks, we wanted to post something that would make you smile....and how can we not smile seeing how excited Dr. Barnett is to dig into his Birthday cake! Happy Birthday Dr. Barnett and Happy St. Patricks Day to all of our patients!

As you all likely heard, the Alberta Dental College has issued a mandatory suspension of all non-emergency treatment for all Alberta Dental Offices. Please note that by the college definitions a loose/broken bracket is NOT an emergency. We are thus closing our office to comply with this college directive. We are working on plans to deal with true emergencies and follow up appointments in the near future. We will keep you updated as we receive further information.

To our valued patients, We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of changes we are making in our clinic to keep you and our staff as safe as possible in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. 1) We kindly ask any persons who are experiencing flu-like symptoms ( fever, cough, shortness of breath, or dizziness) or have been in contact with persons with any of these symptoms, to please call and reschedule your appointment. ... 2) If any persons have travelled or have been in contact with any persons who have travelled internationally within the past 2 weeks, please kindly call and reschedule your appointment. 3) We have been instructed to limit certain orthodontic procedures to limit the amount of aerosols spread throughout our office. 4) We have shut down our brushing stations, so we ask if you have an appointment to try to brush beforehand. Stations are open for handwashing only. 5) One of our staff will accompany you to a washing station where we will ask you to wash your hands prior to being seated in our treatment area. 6) We are trying to eliminate the amount of people in our clinic and waiting area at once, so we kindly ask if you are accompanying your child to their appointment to please wait in the waiting room. We apologize in advance as we understand that these changes can pose inconveniences to our patients and their families. However, these changes are being implemented in the best interest of everyone.
