Our Office Manager sat down with Karen, the Registered Massage Therapist here at the clinic to hear a little bit about what she was noticing in her patients since the pandemic started. ... Recently established as a teaching clinic, DCN is working in conjunction with the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine to support the clinical instruction of our future generation of Naturopathic Doctors. We are delighted to introduce to you, Erin, the newest DCN team member! Erin will working under Dr. Reid as a student practitioner on Fridays from 9:00am-1:00pm.... Erin received her undergraduate degree (BSc. Food and Nutritional Sciences Double Major) at the University of British Columbia and is currently in her 4th and final year of studies at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Her passionate and heartful approach to medicine comes from her shared experience in the medical world desiring to be heard, understood and cared for. For her, listening is key. Only through listening to each person carefully, learning their story, and finding out what makes them tick, can the whole person be appreciated. From this knowledge, Erin can develop a comprehensive treatment plan best suited to shift the wellbeing of the whole individual on a mental, emotional, and physical level. COVID-19 Phase 2 - Opening Clinic for In-House Appointments. We are very excited to announce that we are able to offer in-house appointments as of May 25th! The clinic is eagerly awaiting your arrival! We have prepared a safe clinic environment in accordance with the guidelines from the BC Centre of Disease Control to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients and staff. ... We are implementing many new protocols including a regular hourly cleaning and disinfecting of common touched surfaces as well as after each use. Personal protective equipment will be offered to patients for a small fee. The proceeds of these purchases will be donated to a local charity. You are now able to book your in-house appointments for the following services: return visits, acupuncture, IV therapy, blood work, naturopathic manipulation adjustments, massage therapy, and nutrition consultations.
