POLIO is back :( There is no cure for polio. The virus invades the nervous system and can cause irreversible paralysis within hours. The only way to prevent this paralyzing disease is through immunizations. Vaccination rates need to be >95% for disease prevention. We continue to have a growing number of anti-vaxxers in our community(and worldwide) and previously eradicated diseases are now coming back in full swing.
