Benitez Dental Clinic team is sad to say Goodbye to Dr. Maria Antonieta Parra, my Mom - She is officially retired since January 1st of 2020. We wish her all the best on her retirement - She has contributed many years of hard work and dedicated care to our community. She will be greatly missed by the team and her loyal clientele. Benitez Dental Clinic team welcomes our new dentist associate, Dr. Maria Elena Diaz. Dr. Diaz attended the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, where s...he earned her DDS in 1994 and completed the first international exchange program with Meikai University School of Dentistry in Japan. She completed her Orthodontic degree in 2000 at the Institute for the Development and Updating of Professionals (IDAP) in Mexico. Dr. Diaz has over 10 years of experience practicing general dentistry and 6 years of experience practicing orthodontics. She re-qualified her dental degree by successfully completing the NDEB’s(National Dental Examination Board of Canada) written and practical examinations for certification as a dentist in Canada. Thereafter, she received her accreditation from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association in 2019. She is proficient in both English and Spanish and dedicated to deliver a customized and comprehensive treatment approach. Dr. Diaz is trained in various specialties including Restorative Dentistry, Root canals, Fixed Prosthodontics, Aesthetic Dentistry, Pediatrics and Orthodontics. It is a pleasure having her join our team and we look forward to her valuable contribution in our patient care.
