Dentistry has been deemed an essential service. As such, our office, and most likely all other offices in the area, remain open for dental and dental hygiene care. The government is relying on dentists to continue exercising their professional judgement to lower the risk of COVID-19 transmission in their communities, while continuing to deliver care so that our patients don’t overwhelm hospitals." Hello family, As you are well aware, Renfrew County is starting to remove some of the restrictions previously in place. We too are starting to expand the services we are providing.... It will be a slow start as we conform to the new directives and guidelines put out by our governing bodies. The end result is to keep everyone safe. There will be delays, and rescheduling as we adapt to these requirements - add this to the backlog of 3 months of patients that could not be seen. We are doing our best to prioritize who we see and when we can see them. Hello family. We hope you are all doing well. Just thought we would drop you a note to help with your dental and mental health.... We have no set time when any office will be open...so it is very important that people take care of their health more than ever. Exercise, eating well and sleeping well are the fundamentals. Develop a routine which includes goals that are realistic - time to dust off your exercise equipment. Keep moving. Regarding your oral health. Brush and floss regularly. We can't emphasize this enough. Many studies have shown, that even large cavities stop progressing if people increase the amount they brush and floss. Lots of problems can be remedied (short term), by brushing and flossing and rinsing with listerine. Stay away from sugars and sweets as best as you can. They are even more harmful, because they are easier to get to and people are snacking more than ever. If you have a dental emergency (pain or swelling) please get in touch with me. Hello family. To date, we have no real solid date of when dental offices will be open. I am hopeful that it is soon. I am however available by email should someone have any type of dental emergency or concern @ [email protected].... For those that have appointments, we will be cancelling them if necessary the week before. As I sit at home, I want everyone to know that we are all in this together. We have to be patient as we try to teach our kids math and french while monitoring the use of toilet paper. I am amazed by some of the touching stories that I am hearing daily about our caring community. Keep it up.
