The weight of the pandemic is great. There are all sorts of issues that everyone is managing, from cancer, to family death, interpersonal problems, fatigue, and just a little ennui. This is real. Acknowledge it, let it exist in you, and move through it. Our sensory world is bombarded with information that we have to process and determine all the time if we are safe or not safe. The uncertainties behind us and ahead of us make us feel increasingly unsafe, and thus stressed or... not at ease. Do your best to ground yourself. Step back, go within. Take up art. Really BE in nature. Observe, deeply. Form something with your hands, use your limbs for a new activity. You have it within you to soothe yourself. xo https://www.huffingtonpost.ca//coronavirus-pandemic-wall-m

How can we renew trust in our own capacity for health and engender a new confidence and zest for life during this challenging period of the pandemic? It is well known that fear, loneliness, separation from loved ones these negative feelings all weaken our immune system and our resilience. They need to find compensation through positive feelings and a realistic assessment of the actual risk of falling ill. Trust and confidence are positive feelings which are particularly strengthening to the immune system. They also include the joy of being in nature, engaging with art, meeting one another (distant and online) and having conversations. #naturopathicmedicine #arttherapy #musictherapy #bees #naturecure #ottawavalley #hastingscounty
