OUR DENTAL OFFICE CONTINUES TO OPEN WITH ENHANCED PRECAUTIONS Our clinic has thankfully gone through a smooth reopening process since June 2020, enabling staff and patients to return in a safe environment for treatment. As of December 14, 2020, part of Ontario including the York Region is going into a modified lock down due to the second wave of COVID-19. As dental services are regarded as essential, all dental offices in Ontario will stay open with enhanced precauti...ons for all aspects of our operations. We continue to take extra precautions at our office to ensure everyone’s safety and to address the ongoing risks and effects of the COVID-19 outbreak. Some routine, elective, aerosol-producing dental procedures may be rescheduled. We will be able to see patients, with their consent, to address and treat their more urgent needs, which may cause harm or suffering for patients if left unattended in the short term. We are following a very strict protocol to minimize and carry out aerosol producing procedures at this time; hence some dental procedures still need to be postponed. Thank you all for your patience and understanding! Dr Ho and Dr Kwong will be available for advice and care of dental emergency. Please contact our office by phone or email if needed. And we will get back to you as soon as possible! We look forward to seeing you and your family soon. Stay safe and healthy everyone!

CAUTIOUS & GRADUAL RE-OPENING OF OUR OFFICE WHILE MONITORING COVID-19 PANDEMIC DEVELOPMENT We will further increase office hours as of AUGUST 3, 2020. For your convenience, we will now offer 8AM appointments. On May 26, the Ontario government is allowing health-care providers to gradually resume all services. This means that dentists can slowly begin seeing more patients for more types of treatments again. While this is good news, it doesn’t mean it’s back to business as ...usual or that the office is fully open right now. As the daily number of COVID19 new cases in Ontario is thankfully dropping to the 100s, we continue to take extra precautions at our office to ensure everyone’s safety. Before we can be ready to treat all of you, we must meet all updated safety guidelines. And we need time to carry this out properly; so please be patient. Some routine, elective, aerosol-producing dental procedures will still be rescheduled to ensure adequate time between appointments and patient flow to facilitate physical distancing. We will contact you once our practice can be safely reopen for all routine procedures. According to the new guidelines, we will be able to bring certain patients back, with their consent, to address and treat their more urgent needs, which may cause harm or suffering for patients if left unattended in the short term. Dr Ho and Dr Kwong will be available for advice and care of dental emergency. Please contact our office by phone or email if needed. And we will get back to you as soon as possible! You can expect some changes to the office when you come in Please follow us here, at Instagram or our website for updates. We look forward to seeing you and your family soon. Keep safe and healthy everyone!

COVID-19 PANDEMIC Control Strategy for Dental Offices in Ontario. UPDATED MAY 23, 2020. On March 16, the Royal College of Dental Surgeon of Ontario has sent out directives to strongly recommend all dental practices in Ontario to suspend all elective, non-urgent, routine dental treatment. On May 23, our College has announced that we are cautiously entering Stage 2 of the Return to Office process. This means as community transmission declines, dentists will be permitte...d to provide an expanded list of in-person services (only urgent care is permitted in-person), with enhanced precautions. This includes addition of doors (temporary at this time) to all the operatories and other modifications to help and keep our entire dental clinic safe and clean. We will need time to carry this out properly; so please be patient. To keep everyone safe and healthy, all routine, non-urgent dental appointments will be rescheduled as long as there is evidence of community spread. According to the new guidelines, we will be able to bring certain patients back, with their consent, to address and treat their more urgent needs, as if postponed, may cause harm or suffering for the patients. We still have to follow a very strict protocol to avoid any possible aerosol producing procedures at this time; therefore, most dental procedures still cannot be done. Dr Ho and Dr Kwong will be available for advice and care of dental emergency. Please contact our office by phone or email if needed. And we will get back to you as soon as possible! Follow us here, Facebook or Instagram for more updates. Keep safe and healthy everyone! We will brave through this pandemic together
