Dear Patients, I wanted to let patients in our practice know that I am scheduled to receive the COVID-19 (Pfizer/BioNTech) vaccine as part of the initial cohort on Dec 19 in Miramichi. I received an invitation because of my work at Pine Grove Nursing Home. I wanted to share this in order to lend wholehearted support to vaccination in general and more specifically to the science behind the new COVID-19 vaccines. Vaccines have been essential to the management of infectious diseases for over a century and their benefits far outweigh their risks. It took 4 years to develop the Mumps vaccine in 1967, why wouldn't it take less than 1 year in 2020 with all the world watching. Dr. Will Stymiest

Flu Shots are here! We have made accommodations at the clinic to allow us to continue with flu shot clinics and respect Public Health guidelines. Our patients can book into either the Oct 8 or Oct 22 clinics. We are booking family bubbles together and spacing bubbles throughout our office. Please call and schedule your appointment as soon as possible not to miss out. If you already have a scheduled in-person appointment coming up, we can administer the flu shot at your appointment. Please don't book separate visit.

We are resuming After Hours Clinics (virtual only) next week. We apologize for this service being unavailable over the last few months due to the pandemic. Weekend Coverage for May 2nd Saturday and May 3rd Sunday: We are working hard to ensure our patients have access to their physician during this COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to help ensure access to our emergency departments is used only for emergencies. Drs Stymiest will be available on the weekends during this time. Please call the office and leave a message should you require urgent care over the weekend. Phone messages will be checked daily at 9am and your call will be returned as needed.

Our Prime Minister has just announced an invitation to observe a minute of silence, today, at 2pm Atlantic time to recognize the passing of Constable Stevenson, and other victims of the tragedy in Nova Scotia. We encourage all of us to pause for a moment to do this.
