Sometimes guinea pigs need an adjustment too! This little cutie came in to see me after her very observant owner recognized that she had some neck and shoulder pain with the recent changes in weather.

I've had quite a few texts, emails and phone calls over the past 24 hours. Just to let everyone know that I am on holidays near the border so I don't have my phone on. I will reply on Saturday when we are back in Ottawa. Thank you for your patience.

Yesterday the Ministry of Health announced that chiropractors can now offer appointments for all deferred and non essential services. I am very excited to be heading back to regular practice with extra safety precautions in place. ... Equine clients: you should have received an email by now with your next scheduled date. Small animal clients: you no longer need to contact me personally for an appointment. You can once again directly call the Carp Road Animal Hospital or Rehab Fur Your Pet to schedule them in. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. I appreciate your patience as I work through the backlog of non essential visits. I will make sure to keep space available for urgent care.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to quickly update you on the status of my practice. I was really hopeful that chiropractors were going to be on the list of businesses to re-open during phase 1, but unfortunately we will have to wait a bit longer. However, I am still open for urgent small and large animal appointments. If you are unsure if your animal's condition would qualify as urgent please reach out and we can discuss their case. I hope you are all keeping safe and healthy and I will reach out as soon as I am able to book regular appointments again.

To all of my small and large animal clients: I have made the tough decision to close my practice for the next two weeks, and possibly more depending on a number of factors. With an underlying heart condition and two small children I have to be extra careful with who I come into contact with. If you have a small animal appointment over the next two weeks, your appointment has already been cancelled. If you have a large animal appointment I will be reaching out in the next day or so to touch base. I am currently not booking any new appointments, or rescheduling the cancelled appointments until I know for certain when I will be returning. Rev enjoyed his pre birthday adjustment before his working certificate test this weekend. You will never guess how old he is turning!

Clients often ask me what type of maintenance schedule their dogs should be on to keep them comfortable as they age. There are many factors that I take into account when recommending maintenance schedules as each dog is a little different. My own dog, Zoe, is 9 years old and gets adjusted about every 3 weeks. Any longer than that and her low back starts getting restricted and sore.
