Last month we held a series of neighbourhood information sessions across the Drumheller Valley, reaching more than 500 residents. We’d like to thank everyone who attended and provided their valuable input. We’ve put together a What We Heard report that is now publicly available. This document summarizes changes to the proposed new Land Use Bylaw (LUB) and Municipal Development Plan (MDP) resulting from the collective review of the first draft. The second version of both documents have now been shared with the public for additional review and feedback. Second reading successfully passed on November 23 and we expect third reading to occur before the end of this year. We’re still accepting feedback, visit https://landplanning.drumheller.ca/contact to download the report and leave us feedback.

It's been a great couple of weeks hitting the trail and talking with the different neighbourhoods in regards to the proposed new Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw. Tonight we're in Newcastle, but please note that capacity is limited at this session. If you need a ride be sure to give Drumheller Valley Bus Society "Serving the Valley since 1984" a call at 403-823-1319 for pick up and drop off. If you were unable to attend a session, but would still like to provide feedback on the proposed changes please visit https://landplanning.drumheller.ca/ to drop us a note.
