Feb. 25, 2017, Ontario Innovation Celebration, a great event for the young innovators!

On Jan. 14th, among all 40 elite teams from Canada, our team ROC brought home three golden yellow LEGO trophies for three 1st places in all the robotics categories: 1st in Robot Mechanical Design, 1st in Robot Performance with a dominating world record score of 324 points, 90 points over the runner up, and the 1st in Robot Game Playoff. Also their innovative solution of the iCollar won one of the seven seats to compete in the Global Innovation Celebration to be held at the IBM headquarter of Canada in February 2017.

Congratulations to our team ROC! Everyone on the team has done a wonderful job in the qualification tournament at MDHS, and as a team, all the kids performed very well in all three areas of the competition: Project, Core Values and Robot Design. And the last but not the least, they delivered an outstanding robot game with an astonishing score of 266 points which was more than doubled points of the second place team! The Best Robot Performance Award was no doubt, and finally the Championship Award was also well deserved!

Congratulations to our team Osprey! All the hard work paid off, they received three awards in the 2016 FLL York Region (St. Robert) Qualification Tournament: Robot Design Award, Robot Performance Award and Imagery Award. They did extremely well in the Animal Allies Robot Game, got the highest score - an amazing 189 pionts!
