Dryden Fall Fest 31.01.2021

A final post to say THANK YOU. Each official sponsor played a role in our success, and we cannot say thanks enough. We also would like to give a shout out to the following businesses and organizations for the incredible generosity they showed at each event: CKDR for being at each event to play tunes for the attendees Just G's Chip Stand, Tim Hortons, Boreal Coffee, and Pizza Hut for feeding and caffeinating everyone Balla Bros, who gave us a lovely surprise by donating t...he restrooms for each event Canadian Ski Patrol from Dryden Ski Club for providing a first aid booth and help at each event Hand Radio Club for providing much needed communications at the Laura Howe Haunt Dryden Early ON Child and Family Centrefor collaborating with us at our Treats & Trees Walk Finally, THANK YOU to the community for the overwhelming support we have received. Spanning all three events, we had over 30,000pcs of candy donated, almost $1,000 dropped into our donation jars, and over 2,500 attendees. The Harvest Hay Day saw 34 pumpkin contest submissions, 18 vendors, and with Just G’s there providing food by donation, they raised $400 to go to A Dog’s Life! The Laura Howe Haunt was made possible by our 19 actors in the marsh, along with the ARMY of volunteers it took to run the event. Trunk-or-Treat had 21 trunks manned by local businesses and organizations, and was also made possible by our true grit volunteers who braved the terrible weather for the kids. Our photo contest had over 100 photo submissions and our yard decor tour accrued 18 houses to show off their decorations! The committee is proud of our community’s spirit, and we are already looking forward to seeing everyone out enjoying fall time activities again in 2021!

We’ve fallen head over heels for the Canadian Ski Patrol from Dryden Ski Club and their first aid booth at each event! #thankyou

Dryden Fall Fest 13.12.2020

Despite cold temps, 70km wind gusts, and snow, Trunk-or-Treat entertained and delighted 1,177 costumed candy seekers! We are incredibly grateful to the Dryden community for making our last event the grand finale to our 1st annual Dryden Fall Fest! Trunk-or-Treat wouldn’t have been possible without the people manning the trunks, the volunteers helping run the event, the public’s candy donations, and Tim Hortons and Just G’s keeping everyone’s hands warm and bellies full.
