The newly designed Cenotaph Green at the corner of Frederick and Duke Street in DTK just wrapped construction (as part of the Queen Street and Vogelsang Green placemaking project). Because of social distancing measures, the community is invited to view a live stream of the Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11 beginning at 10am on Rogers and @ctvkitchener’s website.

What to order: Falafel Patty Plate If you share that you're vegan, the incredible owners of this locally owned establishmentwill make sure they set you up with a falafel plate decked out with vegan sauces and delicioussides. The Guanaquita Restaurant What to order: The Vegan Platter, Vegan Nachos or Vegan Chimichangas Majority of the Guanaquita'smenu can be made vegan by removing cheese, but I promise you won't miss it, because every dish they make is bursting with authentic El Salvadorian flavours. East African Cafe What to order: Vegan Combo Platter The combo platter allows you to try a number of vegan dishes that contain lentis, split peas and various veggies served with injera (traditional Ethiopian flatbread) or rice. The Yeti Cafe What to order: Vegan BLT The vegan BLT is made with The Yeti's housemade "jazcon" which is a coconut bacon served with a Buddah sauce on fresh bread! Crafty Ramen What to order: Kaizen Warrior or Tokyo Salary Man (veganized) A good portion of Crafty Ramen's menu can be veganized, and they even have take-home ramen kits if you're feeling adventurousenough to assemble yours at home!
