D-Town Throwdown 13.12.2020

2019 DTOWN WORKOUTS WOD 1 - CARDIO CITY AMRAP 10mins All 4 athletes work and must start in this order:... M1 Row (m) M2 run 300m W1 Rest W2 Assault Bike(m) This workout starts with M1 Rowing (m’s), M2 running 300m, W1 resting & W2 on the Assault bike for m’s. The order can not be changed, athletes must follow this order. The athletes rotate once the runner comes in and tags the person rowing. Score for this workout will be total meters(m) completed in 10mins. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WOD 2 BACK TO THE BAAAAR 10mins M/M & F/F Pairs 10-8-6-4-2-1 SQUAT CLEANS Rx Weights 185/125 225/145 245/165 275/185 295/195 305/205 Competitive/Masters Weights 135/85 155/105 185/125 205/145 225/155 255/175 This workout starts with the bar loaded for the Men’s weights(185/135) where they will complete 10 reps. Once the 10 reps are completed, teams will change the weight to the second weight(225/155) where they will complete 8 reps. Once all weights and reps are completed, teams will then setup the women’s bars for the second portion of the workout where the women will complete the same rep scheme at ascending weights. The 2 men/women can share the reps any way they prefer, there is no minimum rep requirement. Teams are responsible to change the weights, any team member can help. Men and women will have 4mins30s to complete the reps. There is a 1min transition time between the men and women where no lifts will happen only bar setup. Total time for the workout is 10mins. Tie Break time will be taken after completion of the 2nd bar(set of 8) for both men and women. Rx MUST complete a SQUAT CLEAN, Competitive/Masters are allowed to complete a Power Clean+Front Squat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WOD 3 - PEDAL TO THE METAL 10mins M/F Pairs 4 ROUNDS 50/30 Heavy Double-Unders 15 Synchro Double Dumbbell Snatch(50/35, 35/25) 12 Synchro Toes To Bar / 20 T2B w/partner hanging on bar 9 Synchro Burpee Box Jump Over (30/24, 24/20) This workout starts with the first M/F pair completing 50 Rx/30 ScMst Heavy DU’s then moving to 15 Synchro Double DB Snatches. The Synchro happens at the bottom and at the top of the movement. Only one end of each DB needs to touch the ground. The pair then moves to Synchro T2B for the Rx Division and for the Competitive/Masters one Partner hangs while the other completes T2B’s and complete 20 reps. They cap off the round with Synchro Burpee BJO’s where they must be Synchronized on the floor. When the first pair complete their round they tag in the second pair and they do a round. Workout ends once all 4 rounds are done. Reps can be shared in any way, no minimum required.

Organizing a top notch @Crossfit Sanctional requires a ton of effort and coordination. The whole @crossfitatlasgames team and @all__baz have worked tirelessly for the past 15 months to get things ready for this weekend. . Unfortunately, the world is dealing with a pandemic that is causing havoc to all normal daily activities, which the the Atlas Games was its latest victims.
