More often than not, this is how you will find me. Smiling. Laughing. Cracking jokes. I like to think that I'm someone who can lift others up. Who can take someone's bad day and turn it around.... Even if I am the one having the bad day, which happens more often than people might think, I'm still always reminding myself to hide it and smile. This is a reminder, to myself and anyone else reading, that it's ok not to smile. It is ok, or even preferable, to not only acknowledge the bad days, but to honour them. They are part of life. They are part of our journey. And I truly believe that when we acknowledge that journey, that is when we can appreciate the journey, even the dark and unknown parts.
