Update from OFAH: UPDATE: The OFAH is pleased to note that we have been successful in pushing to have the recent discharge of firearms by-law in the Town of Grimsby repealed. Council voted unanimously on the matter. Bowhunting above the escarpment is once again permitted and the OFAH remains committed to working with the Town of Grimsby to craft a revised by-law in the new year that respects the wishes of council in enhancing public safety while recognizing and maintaining ac...tivities such as hunting, trapping and recreational shooting. Be sure to follow and have your voice heard. Big changes happening in Grimsby with discharge bylaws that have essentially wiped out any form of hunting in Grimsby.

This past weekend our committee was joined by the winners of our 2020 Youth hunt at Long Point Bay on Lake Erie. Joing them was Steve Elmy from Rack Stacker Inc & #HomegrownHunterTV All week the weather looked perfect, however we woke up to zero winds and blue bird skies. Even though there wasn't alot of shooting, there was tons of laughs and good times. They still managed to drop what birds did decide to come for a look with a solid group effort on a bonus Goose! Although... they didn't get to take home dinner, we made sure they took home a pretty Awesome prize pack thanks to some great sponsors! Due to the obvious and ongoing restrictions due to COVID19, We have made the very tough decision to cancel our 2020 event! Most have been in contact with our committee and have chose to keep their tickets and use them for our 2021 dinner this comming spring. If you purchased a ticket for this years dinner , We have a couple of options for you :... 1. Keep your ticket and use it at our 2021 dinner this comming spring. 2. 100% refund for your ticket. For those who keep their ticket, you will be entered into a separate draw for a prize pack valued at over $700 ( Stay tuned for details on this) This dinner was going to be our biggest yet with a 300 seat sell out, however We can promise you, next years will be set to be even bigger!
