Golden fall evenings

Funny how this newborn photo makes me think our new house renovations we are doing before baby arrives. It holds all the colour schemes and hints of what our new house will look like once it is finished. I’m all about whites, and creams for main colours, with accents of soft greens, greys and golds from earthy accent decor elements, like my go to pampas grass.

As I’m nearing the end of my season before my own baby arrives, I decided I’d like to surprise 3 of my clients chosen at random from this year with a little gift. 3 of these leather wraps of prints will be going out in surprise, one of the 3 will be mailed out today! Thank you to all of my clients for making this year another great year, when the pandemic hit I was worried it was going to be a slow year, but fortunately it has been another busy year! ... Once my baby arrives and I start taking on sessions again, I will have new packages that will include products like this for 2021!

UPDATE: These sessions booked fully under 10 minutes! If there is enough interest I’ll open up time slots for 3-4 pm Very last minute decision, but due to covid cancelling school photos and it being requested, I have decided to open up my last day available to do School Portraits! These sessions will be very quick, 5-10 minutes per kid, held September 12th 4-6 pm receiving 3-5 digital files delivered through online gallery only. ... Cost will be $30, location is Dumaine Photography Studio in Redvers and all photos must be outdoors to keep social distancing in place. Private message if you’d like to book in!

Baby girl I know you’ll walk on rainbows and find good in this crazy world. You’ll be taught to accept others for who they are, treat others with kindness, know the meaning of equality, and have pride! Approaching my last month of taking on photoshoots before our house flip begins and baby arrives! This year has been extra special in the newborn department because so many of my shoots have been of past classmates who I grew up with photographing their new babes while expecting myself

This weather is a little to warm for myself right now, but it’s perfect napping temperature for the babies

A lot excitement has happened lately so I will share the news! We have bought a house! We will get possession of it end of September and do what my family is best known for, a house flip! Once we get the keys to the new house we will begin doing some renovations. (And of course will share the progress, I know so many of you loved watching our camper van flip!) Between a new home and renovations and expecting our first baby come November, I have decided to not take on any ph...otoshoots in October. If feeling well in September I might possibly do Fall Minis the first week of October for limited spots, but that decision will be made come mid-end of September. I have very limited spots left available for September so if you know you’re wanting to book in now is the time to do so!

A fabulous farm wedding full of laughter and smiles was held July 25th and I am so happy to have been able to capture their special day!
