Reminders : The Annual General Meeting for the Dundas County Players is going to be held on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at 7:00 pm. You need to register before tomorrow if you wish to participate. An event page has been put up on the Facebook page, feel free to check it out.... In addition, voting for the DCP awards is up and tomorrow is the last available day to get your votes in - check out the link on the last post to get your votes in before it is too late.

Dundas County Players Theatrical Society 01.02.2021

The Annual General Meeting for the Dundas County Players is going to be held on Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at 7:00 pm. An event page has been put up on the Facebook page, feel free to check it out. The AGM will be held virtually through Zoom. As such, registration is mandatory. To register, please email Jp :... ( [email protected] ) by January 15th, 2021. In addition to all of this, the past years, membership dues were collected at the in-person January AGMs, however as this year's AGM is a virtual event, dues will be collected via PayPal by clicking here ( https://www.dcplayers.ca/dcp-membership/ ). Please note that the yearly membership dues ($10) must be paid in full in order to vote on any DCP matter or participate in any DCP production.

1st Annual Dundas County Players Awards ----- The 2021 AGM will be the launch of the 1st Annual Dundas County Players Awards. It's like the Tonys without all the rich celebrities! Or insane song & dance numbers!... Categories will be open for nominations and shared on social media by tomorrow and will close on December 31, 2020. Voting will occur from January 1, 2021 to January 15, 2021. Share with friends to spread the news and stay tuned to the Facebook page for all of the details!

ZAGM & Pre-ZAGM Happening August 23rd 2020, the Pre-ZAGM is starting at 6, and the AGM starting at 7! This is a phenomenal opportunity anyone is free to participate! What is a ZAGM you may be asking?... You can find out by accepting the future invitation to the DCP Summer Zoom Annual General Meeting. Oops, I think I just gave it away. If you are tempted to show off your artistic talent(s) at the pre-ZAGM variety show, please inform Doree Sisson of your intention by sending details to [email protected]. A Zoom invitation will be sent at 5:30pm on Aug 23rd. Joining a Zoom meeting is simple. You just click the link in the invitation, follow the links to install the Zoom app from Zoom.us if you don’t have Zoom on your computer yet, join the meeting in the waiting room and wait to be allowed in by the Zoom host. Allow your mike and your camera to be used if you want to be heard and seen. You will see either a series of windows or just the window of one participant at the time. These depend on Zoom options. Explore and discover, you can’t break it. No camera = no problem. You can still see and hear the meeting and we will see a black screen with your name on it. On a small screen (smart phone) you will see only 4 windows at once but you can swipe to other people, 4 at a time. On a large screen, the limit is about 50.
