It’s true! We are opening the studio for regular classes for the month of August. (Also, important message from Miss Danni at the end) In order to come to clas...ses, please read the guidlines below. GUIDELINES FOR DUNDAS SCHOOL OF DANCE REGULAR CLASSES DURING COVID-19 1. All students must wear a mask to attend class. Please try to bring your own mask from home. There will be a limited number of disposable masks for those who forget to bring one. 2. No parents or observers will be allowed in class during or after class time 3. Please arrive for your lesson on time as the door will be locked after class begins. 4. There will be a 15 minute gap between classes for cleaning. Students will be encouraged not to remain in the studio after class, unless they are participating in the next class. Please arrange prompt pick-ups so that students do not have to wait outside. 5. Every attempt will be made to practice social distancing during classes. Groups will be encouraged to perform exercises and routines within their own area and not to encroach on other students’ space. Spaces will be sectioned off for each student and we will refrain from performing travelling steps and formations unless we can do so safely. 6. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon arrival and departure. 7. Please refrain from bringing any extra items into the studio. Bring your water, dance shoes and cell phone only. Also make sure you take all of your belongings with you when you leave including water bottles. 8. If you have paid for the year, you do not need to pay any more for the month of August. However, if you choose not to attend any more classes, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund. If you are paying monthly, you will be required to pay for the month of August before you start classes. Parents will be notified by Miss Danni in the next few days to find out if you are able to attend classes and if you are paying for the month, to arrange payment. (Credit card or e-transfer is preferred, a cheque can be sent with the student on the first day of classes) 9. CLASSES WILL RECOMMENCE ON TUESDAY AUGUST 4TH, 2020. TIMES WILL BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TO ALLOW FOR CLEANING BUT THE DAY OF THE WEEK THAT YOU WERE ATTENDING CLASSES ON PREIOUSLY WILL REMAIN THE SAME. SOLO CLASSES WILL ALSO STILL BE TAKING PLACE. MISS DANNI WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH AMENDED TIMES FOR CLASSES. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING MORE THAN YOUR USUAL CLASSES, PLEASE LET MISS DANNI KNOW AND ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE. I APPRECIATE ALL STUDENTS THAT RETURN TO FINISH OUT THE SEASON! IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT THIS PANDEMIC HAS INTERRUPTED OUR REGULAR DANCE CLASSES AND THIS IS OUR ATTEMPT TO MAKE IT UP TO OUR STUDENTS. DUE TO THIS SITUATION DUNDAS SCHOOL OF DANCE WILL BE DISCONTINUING OUR DANCE CLASSES IN THE FALL. AUGUST WILL BE THE LAST MONTH OF OPERATION AS WE CAN NO LONGER SUSTAIN OUR BUSINESS AS A RESULT OF COVID-19. THANK-YOU TO ALL OF MY FORMER AND PRESENT STUDENTS AND FAMILIES. I HAVE APPRECIATED ALL YOUR SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT I AM CLOSING THE STUDIO. IT IS MY GREATEST HOPE THAT ALL PRESENT STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE OFFERED CLASSES SO THAT I CAN HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN BEFORE THE STUDIO IS CLOSED. MISS DANNI
