Well, this month's Dungeon Challenge was not a success..... Four brave souls, putting themselves at risk of contracting a strange disease, ventured forth to answer the call for assistance. The communities surrounding the northern border of the High Moor had been stricken by a plague of some sort. Many people in the villages had died, or fallen gravely ill from a strange orange mist floating in from the moors. After traveling to one of the villages and after seeing many de...ad people in the streets, and others very ill, and after speaking with one of its residents, who had been ordered by the major to stay home, they headed for the High Moor to investigate. All the way they were exposed to the orange mist, which, it turned out had infected two of them by the next day. On the way through the swamps and wastelands of the High Moor, they fought a shambling mound, which nearly suffocated Vvulf, and later after killing the creature, they found a strange looking cottage in the middle of the swamp. Orange mist poured out its chimney. They approached the cottage, and were attacked by the huge tentacles of some unseen monster under the water infront of the cottage. After defeating this horror, they busted down the door of the cottage to find themselves actually inside a large cave, where three hags were chanting around a brazier which was producing the orange mist. After a spectacular battle with the hags, three of the four heroes were defeated. Only Goderae escaped to tell the tale...... and he means to go back to see if he can find a way to save his companions.....will you help?
