Spring has sprung at the Durham Mobile Home Park! Love this post, Linda, "The good old boys!"
Toilet wipes, or sanitizing wipes such as Lysol wipes, or baby wipes such as Huggies or Pampers wipes, or paper towels WILL CLOG AND DAMAGE septic tanks and septic systems, just as they clog city sewer systems. All that type of product should be placed in the garbage and not flushed (even if the product says it is flushable, it is NOT!!!) SANITIZING WIPES, BABY WIPES, TOILET WIPES SHOULD NEVER BE FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET. They will damage our septic systems.
Only toilet paper off the roll should be flushed. NO 'flushable' wipes for adults (because they are not flushable!), no baby wipes, no lysol or antiseptic wipes, no paper towels, no sanitary products, no feminine products, ONLY toilet paper may be flushed. Dispose ALL other products in the garbage. Protect septic beds and sewage systems. Septic tanks and septic beds can be permanently damaged by flushing other products!
Why do we call it Good Friday when Jesus Christ suffered, was crucified and died on the cross? Because, in a true act of unconditional love, Jesus Christ, who i...s not only the son of God but is God Himself (and the Word became flesh", John 1: 1, 14), he chose to give up his life so all mankind, past and future, could be re-united into a personal relationship with God, if or when we so choose. Jesus died knowing he would rise again in three days, thereby winning the battle over sin and death! So, with grateful hearts we call his death good and we celebrate his victory which is our salvation! See more
Great song! As his song says, home is Grey/Bruce Counties. We are blessed this is our home during this time of isolation. Be smart, stay home, thereby taking care of yourself and others. I hope you enjoy his song. I did.
Beautiful photos taken at the Park by one of our Tenants. Thank you, Linda!!!
I am posting some amazing photos at the Park that one of our Tenants, Linda, shared. They are so gorgeous!!
Self-isolation is 14 days but if you get symptoms of coronavirus it is self-isolation during that time and then another 14 days after the time you are clear from symptoms to ensure you are not a carrier. Some people only have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all after exposure but could be a carrier to others who end up with severe symptoms or death. Good reason to self-isolate to protect everyone around you.
Let's all self isolate to protect ourselves and others. Let's be aggressive about it so we flatten the curve fast in Canada. The faster we slow the spread of the virus the faster life can return to a more 'normal' state.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!! Tomorrow is a new year and a new decade! A time to start fresh, just like a new snow fall creates a fresh, unmarked scene. May year 2020 be a year of happiness, health and success for you. God bless you!!

One of our Tenants took this video of tonight's sunset at the Durham Mobile Home Park. So pretty!
Soon we will be doing yard clean up as the Autumn weather comes closer but until then we enjoy the sunshine.
How nice to be living in the heart of West Grey.
The past two days have been beautiful to do yard work, gardening and to spend time enjoying the outdoors. Hopefully this is a sign of warmer weather. Our Park is full with nothing available at this time. We appreciate having so many great Tenants!
Our oldest son, Christian J Bender, and me during a quick break from setting a new mobile home.
Our newest Tenant shared her beautiful backyard view this morning ... obviously she was up with the sunrise!
John's Dad, Rufus Bender, who started the Durham Mobile Home Park in 1972, would have celebrated his 100th birthday yesterday if he was still with us. We are blessed to have had him and Mom Bender with us for so many years!
