Our small team always works incredibly hard to meet the needs of all our patients, but it's become a greater challenge during the pandemic. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time and offer this great video to help explain what's going on from our side of door. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCSZ4E_SSfU&feature=youtu.be

We would like to welcome Shady to the Durham Veterinary Clinic pack :) let's have some fun and try and guess her breed! She is a mix of two breeds which make her a super sweet and adorable puppy!

This little lady wears her heart on her sleeve, or her side, quite literally. She definitely melted everyone’s heart today during her puppy visit

It’s not too often that we see a designer breed cat so we had to share this girl. Can you guess the breed?

Fiona the Frenchie was back again today so that means we got to have another play session. She didn’t know what toy to play with.

***SAFE & SOUND**LOOKING FOR OWNER*** We appreciate all the offers to home this beauty, however we are not looking to find it a home, it has one! What we really... really want is to find the proper owners. This Dragon is well loved and no doubt missed dearly. Found running Northbound across the hot asphalt in the middle of 80km per hour traffic on Taunton Rd (btw Liberty & Middle Rd) today! A bearded dragon!! Nicole and I had gone to Orono Crownlands for a hike today and on our way back we saw this thingie run across the road in front of us! Holy crap thats a bearded dragon! Going like a lil rocket across the road in front of oncoming cars! We stopped and scooped it up and have notified some local lost animal group to try to find its owner! Its very tame and easy to handle so its definitely being missed by someone! If you live local, pl share! **edit** She/he is currently resting, with water, a proper heat lamp, some berries and lettuce! Keep our fingers crossed her owner is found!! **There are more pictures in the comments!**

July 7th COVID 19 Update: Hey wonderful people! Hope everyone is holding up well during this pandemic. We have been getting asked a lot lately especially with phase 2 opening, if people are allowed back into the clinic yet. ... Unfortunately people are still not allowed, animals only. We are a very small team and have only one doctor on staff, Dr. McCleary. If any of us, especially the only veterinarian, were to get sick we would have to shut down the clinic. Being closed means we can not help our patients. This decision is in the best interest of the staff and your safety as well. Aside from the curb side appointments and order pick ups, things are running as usual. We have no restrictions on routine check ups, elective procedures, nail trims, etc. Thank you to everyone who has been patient and understanding with us. We will continue to provide the best medicine we can given the unfortunate situation.
