Dutch Store in Ottawa for Sale The Postbode received the following letter from de Van Zijltjes: Dear Valued Customers,... We’d like to inform you that we have decided to sell the store. We are happy in the store; business is good, customers appreciate what we do, and the staff is working hard to keep the store in top condition for you. However, we are getting older and we have plans to do other things than work in the years ahead of us! We hope that you would help us in spreading the word. Perhaps you, your family or friends might be interested in this unique opportunity? The store is profitable and is a great place for a couple or partnership to make their business dreams a reality. We appreciate you letting us know of anyone interested to learn more, or having them contact us directly. Thank you, Henk and José van Zijl Email: [email protected]

Canadian Army Ball 2020 is looking for people of Dutch Heritage The Army Ball is being held this year on April 4th , 2020 at the Hilton Lac Leamy. The theme is completely centered on the Liberation of the Netherlands. The evening is a formal dinner for the Canadian Army with an amazing show during the dinner. Think of an indoor tattoo. For one of the acts in the show they would like to re-enact a moment of Liberation with Dutch people cheering and waving flags and singing th...e Dutch National Anthem. They are looking for volunteers who would like to be in the show. You would not be at the dinner but at the end of the show, you would be invited to stay for the party with a great band for dancing. Drink tickets would be provided. If you are interested to participate, please contact Wendy Sewell at 613-852-670-6033 or [email protected]
