'Black History' is next up! It drops Feb 7 as we celebrate Black History Month. While filming the video for the single and setting up for the plantation scenes..., I couldn’t help but think 'DAMN what if this was my real life'. It was 0 out that day and while the whole cast was all crowded around an outdoor heater (thanks Garrett C VanDusen) we got talking about what our ancestors went through and how we we're so lucky that it wasn’t our reality. My friend and fellow artist Dutch Robinson (yellow shirt in the back) was sharing stories about his grandfather and family members that suffered through slavery picking cotton till their hands were raw and many other horrible things. We have come a long way since those days but we still have a long way to go. I'm calling on everyone to come together to make a stand against segregation, police brutality and white supremacy cause "this ain’t about white verse black, this is right verse wrong, this is life verse death
