So when I don’t feel like sewing I have picked up knitting needles again. The result - kitchen scrubbies, inspired by my sister Asta! These are awesome to wash dishes with and don’t pick up any smell! $4 each if anyone wants some. The shorter stack are an all cotton yarn.
Finally getting my sewing Mojo back after the holidays. This is a Bagstock Flair Crossbody bag with adjustable strap in tweed and waxed canvas with a cotton lining. Emmaline Hardware in nickel. It is 8.5 x 9 x 2.5 inches. It has two interior and one exterior slip pockets and one interior and one exterior zipper pocket. A perfect on the go shopping or sight seeing bag. $100 + s&h.
A Bagstock Divina Tote bag finished for a custom order. This one is a printed and solid canvas exterior, cotton lining and Emmaline bag hardware.
For anyone wondering why I haven’t been making many bags lately, it’s for a good reason. I have finally bought myself an industrial machine which will enable me to see with pretty much any fabric out there with ease. Denim, vinyl’s, corks, leathers!! I can’t wait!!! I have one more bag to finish pre Holiday and then I will be experimenting with some new fabrics and designs. Keep a lookout in the new year for them!!
Finished a bag -it’s a gift for a lovely Auntie Fay, as she gifted me with the pattern book it came out of. I hope she likes it!! Green waxed canvas and a decor fabric accent.
