Ah, yes, those commonly confused words.

As somehow predicted, some French-language media outlets across Quebec have started to use the verb reconfiner. The noun reconfinement will undoubtedly follow suit. If I see or hear reconfine or reconfinement among English-language media outlets, I will literally scream. #COVID19
