!!REMINDER!! Due to current Ontario Government health protocols there will be no dance until Monday January 25th. Please be aware that this may change if the government should provide new details over the coming weeks. Covid restriction update: As per the provincial announcement today our studios will remained closed until January 25th. We will advise in January how we will proceed with the missed classes for your dancers. Wishing all our dance families a safe and happy holiday!

NEW STRATEGY FOR OUR ACRO DANCERS Many teachers have returned to classes amid the pandemic, with new policies in place. Acro Islands are a great way to come back to class with social distancing. Many of our certified teachers are noticing some benefits to Acro Islands; *Focused Classrooms: Students don't have the easy opportunity to chat with their friends in class. Teaching on distanced mats reduce the chatter and increase focused training.... *Skill Progressions: Because spotting isn't recommended by many health organizations - students must rely on the progressions of skills to get through their skills. *No Time to Wait: Usually students need to line up to travel down the mat, reducing mat time and skill execution. Acro islands eliminate this process. *Easy social distancing: Younger students, especially preschool age, have difficulty staying in their taped square. Having a single mat helps students understand and comply to their new physical boundaries. *Eyes on your mat: Some students have insecurities about practicing skills in front of more advanced students. Everyone working on their own mat allows students focus on themselves and their work without the intimidation or distraction from others. Thank you to all that are supporting our dance studio during these times. Without the support of those that have registered with us this season, we may not be standing today. We are trying our best to hang in there so that we can still be of existence for all the little ones, when all finally blows over. I personally can not thank you all enough for the love and support you have shown since March, when all of this started. Please continue to spread the word to friends, that we are open and would be happy to have their families join us safety this season :) We have a lot of Covid procedures in place to keep everyone safe (please check our website for details).
