Getting ready for craft shows. This is Briney, my newest colourway. I love the way different bases take the dye differently

I'm going to be at the One of a Kind Christmas Sale in Granville Ferry on November 21 and 22nd. This is a new colour, Briney. I actually dyed it a few years ago and classed it as a failure until I knit some up a week ago. OMG, it's beautiful.

So one of the things indiedyers learn, or realize they need to learn, is how colour placement affects how the final skein knits up. This skein is one of my favourites and knits up beautifully

So my latest project has been The Empty Sky Hat by Knitting Moon. I've really enjoyed it. Being mostly self taught I always seem to make really simple mistakes and then learning basic things. I love the way Mackerel Skies and Urban knit up together, I always suspected Urban (the green yarn) would knit up nicely.

Almost finished the #emptyskyhat test knit I've been working on It's a fun knit and I'm going to try it again in a slightly heavier yarn
