Some important information breaking this morning regarding mortgage payment deferrals in Canada.

Good News - qualifying for a mortgage is now slightly easier. Previously the qualifying rate was 5.19% or more, now it will be based on an average market rate, plus 2%. We may soon see qualifying rates of ~4.89%. Stay tuned.
