Dynamis Health Centre is pleased to welcome Susan Hounsell to our team. Susan is a Registered Massage Therapist, having graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Ontario in 1994. After practicing Massage Therapy for a number of years in NL and NS, Susan took some time to raise her children and study yoga. After many years of practicing and teaching yoga, including over 15 trips to India to study, Susan‘s vast knowledge of yoga and the body enhances her ability as an RMT, helping with treating a vast array of pain and dysfunction in the body, or simply for relaxation and wellbeing. Susan has recently started accepting massage therapy clients again and will be offering direct billing to all major health plans. Dynamis Health Centre currently has 2 spaces available to rent! One is a brand new, fully renovated space that is approximately 119 sqft with 12 foot ceilings and two windows. Our second space is our largest in the clinic at 131 sqft and is located on our top level with a large window and original hardwood floors. Rudolf Steiner was a philosopher/scientist/historian/clairvoyant living and writing in the early 1900's He was ahead of his time as most geniuses are, but his teachings are greatly needed today. His perspective is vast and his thinking is clear. He will nudge you outside your usual mode of thinking. ... A small group of us meet every 2nd Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. at 95 Torbay Rd. to read and discuss lectures given by Rudolf Steiner. We are presently working on a series he gave on Genesis, which looks beyond the usual interpretation into the deeper meaning which comes out of the symbolism and imagery of the Hebrew language. Discussions around life issues such as who we are, where we came from and what we are doing on this earth are looked at from many perspectives. You and or your friends are welcome to join us any time. We choose a lecture ahead of time (which can be found on the internet) and then read and discuss it at the meeting.
