Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to destinations in a safe and efficient way according to the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and breaks, etc. Plan your trip according to the weather conditions. Follow safety procedures for transporting materials. Maintain Log Books according to rules and regulations. We currently have an exciting role for a Vac Truck Driver to haul waste in our Timmins location. Position Responsibilities Safely operate and drive a vacuum truck.... Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (i.e., compatibilities of liquid to tank, etc.) from various locations. Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for operation. Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and breaks, etc. Plan your trip according to the weather conditions. Follow safety procedures for transporting materials. Maintain Logbooks according to rules and regulations.
