Some happenings from around the school today!

We are happy to announce that Cody Hutchinson, one of our fabulous Grade 9 students, has received a Youth Action Grant of $500 from the McCreary Centre Society to encourage our students to partake in a two week cell phone detox! It's simple...students agree to have their cell phone placed in the office during the school day (including breaks and lunch) for 9 school days. This is a great way to start off a new Quarter at school and a fresh new set of classes. Cody will be visiting classrooms on Tuesday and Wednesday encouraging all kids to sign up. This is open to students at all grade levels. Successful participants will be treated to an amazing meal at the end of the 2 weeks. Also, there will be 'prizes' given out at each grade level. Wow! Look what Mason and Nash made for Mr. Marino. The most amazing projects keep coming out of Mr. Bellows' shop.

Due to not being able to host a live Grad Auction this year, the Grad Class of 2021 is having a raffle instead. Tickets are $20 each. As usual, there are many great prizes being awarded - 2 house boat adventures, pavement, signed hockey jerseys, golf packages and much more. Thank you to our amazing community for the support!
