When our customer asked us to put up a tower crane at Pigeon Park we knew we would end up with at least one interesting story. Pigeon Park did not disappoint, in fact it only took 10 minutes of being onsite. One of the wandering residents decided they needed the traffic control ladys lane closure truck more than we did and stole it. They proceeded to drive around the block and come back past us, safety amber lights still flashing looking quite pleased with themselves only to be stopped by the Police a few blocks away at another infamous Vancouver Park.
We managed to catch some sun in between storms this Saturday to get some fun lifts done!

Eagle Crane was asked to assist with the removal and installation of a 40,000 lbs. Magma Coil at Rogers Sugar. With just inches of space to work with. Planning and execution of the plan between our customer and us got the job done safe and in great time!

The Barnabas family has lost a dear friend. Verne Brown passed away in an ATV accident on Thanksgiving Monday at his home in Abbotsford. Verne and his wife Judy... have been long time friends and supporters of the ministry, perhaps most visibly seen in Vernes involvement as a crane company owner and operator. Verne bought the crane pictured here before the Station project even broke ground, with the express purpose to loan it to Barnabas when the time came. The last time Verne operated this crane was in early July, when he came to help lift in the two enormous glulam beams that support the terrace roof. Verne was one of the key players in sourcing and transporting these beams to Barnabas over 15 years ago - once again, in preparation for a building that at the time was only a dream. He was a man of extravagant generosity - an iconic Barnabas story from the early years is Verne lifting our large blue pier into place with the biggest crane in his fleet - all for the price of a can of Pepsi, his favourite soft drink. Verne was a man of action who always took on the challenges thrown at him with a can-do attitude. His confidence was rooted in a strong faith in God, and he lived a life of gratitude. If you ever asked Verne how he was doing, his response was always better than I deserve. One of my favourite memories of Verne was from this last summer when he and Judy came to Barnabas with eight of their grandchildren. In a conversation with me, and then several other conversations I was part of that week, Verne mentioned how proud he was of his grandsons (who he was sharing a room with) and especially their excitement for reading the Scripture. Verne was someone who had tremendous success in life, but whose security and love for life was rooted in his relationship with Jesus, and in the love for his family. His was a life well lived, and we miss him. - Thomas

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you our founder, boss, and friend Verne Brown has passed away. Vernes passion was to share Gods love by reflecting his Saviour, Jesus Christ. He had a heart for missions and was hands on with encouraging, supporting, and connecting with missionaries and projects around the world. A visitation will be held from 7:30 9 pm on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. There will be a memorial se...rvice at Grace Church, 2087 McMillan Road on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to give you the option of making a tax-deductible donation to their charitable foundation, the I.C.E. Foundation (In Christ Enjoy), which will continue to support the causes nearest and dearest to Verne and Judys hearts. To do so, please make your cheque payable to the I.C.E. Foundation and mail or drop off at Raymond James Ltd., #200 2881 Garden Street, Abbotsford, BC V2T 4X1. "The joy of the Lord is my strength" Nehemiah 8:10 See more
Eagle Crane was called out in the night to assist Roadway Towing with the recovery of a rolled over Container Truck. With any recovery lift on a highway the two concerns are safety and timeliness of job so as to get the highway reopened. We were able to asses the situation, perform the lift, and clear the highway of the container and ourselves in 45 minutes.
