So far the largest project I have done in my shop. A large fireplace frame to be covered in granite. These pics dont do the size or weight justice. I love welding thick steel.

Another 2 sets of these cool flat bar table legs going out the door today. These are taller for a bar table height one 12 foot long table and one 15 foot long table. Witch is why there is more than 2 legs for each table.

Well it is up and running working great. Now time to fill out these orders and put it to good use

Well today I continued on my heavy-duty brake table. Got it mostly completed braced up and even to the point of testing the hydraulics pretty happy with the way it work. There is nothing better then making something from scratch with just an idea in your head and a few scribbles on paper. Lots of clean up and finish work to do on it yet but unfortunately there's some orders piling up that I must get you first.

I have been working on a new tool for the shop. Welding heavy steel and making sure everything is exact is quite a challenge... it has taken quiet a bit of time to get to this spot. Had to do a crash course in hydraulics today and now to clean it up and finish it up. All of this so I can roll out a new line of products, stay tuned to see the new stuff I will be offering of the shelf pre made.

Well that small idea of a wall mounted steel rack escalated quickly. Now to put all my steel on it and test its strength.

Working late trying to fill some orders

My steel rack in the background worked so well but filled up too fast. I decided to make a bigger and better one. Also put my chop saw on it and get rid of my old bulky chop saw table. Now the work begins to remove all the steel that I just put up there and take the old rack down. It will go back up around the corner on the other wall

Got these brackets back from powder coat a couple weeks ago they look stunning. Haven't had time to post in a little while

Made these up for a good friend last night. Two pretty cool looking end table legs. Little bit different style of mounting them just wanted to see how it works. Now it's off to get them cleaned up and powder coated

Gotta love crawling through rafters adding a couple circuits into the shop. But I got it done a couple over head cords and a heater so the shop will not be -30 this yr.

Got my coke fire plumed in today and tested. Seems to work well. No freezing this winter, pushing it outside to work is a thing of the past now

Well I have been quiet the last few weeks. I have been rushing around trying to move out of my temporary shop and set up my new shop before the snow flies. I am not finished moving in yet but here is a sneak peak of my new shop. Nothing like a few late nights cutting and grinding after the kid goes to bed. Not everything has a home yet still jugling were to put things

Well is wanted to wait for a clear day but no luck. The train moved last week to it's new location

Well yesterday was a good day. The top is braced cut and separated. Was almost a little too easy but it was fun. Can't wait to see the big cranes come out and move something this big
