Good morning everyone! I really just want to take a moment and recognize Stephanie Calberry and Candice McArthur’s efforts to help us. Each of them have started a go fund me, and the help is beyond appreciated. The night of the fire when Zac and I finally got home and we were discussing the nights events we both agreed we wouldn’t be accepting any help, we didn’t need it because we have insurance. We quickly learned that, even tho we have insurance there are costs that aren’...t covered and it could also take awhile for business interruption insurance to kick in. So once again thank you, and thank you to everyone that has helped. It really has left us speechless. Secondly, if there is one piece of advice I can give anyone, it is to have copies of photos and videos, invest in a safety deposit box because you never know what is going to happen. Unfortunately we lost wedding pictures and videos of things like Brantley’s first steps and other candid moments. While everything we lost is replaceable those are not and it’s heartbreaking. Lastly I plan to stay active on our Facebook page. I’ve enjoyed creating posts and interacting on here. I’m curious to see what I can come up with, but I am looking forward to it. As many of you know Brantley, Zac, and I lost our business to a fire last night. We just wanted to take a moment to say that everyone is well and safe. Thank you to the Machin and Oxdrift fire teams, dealing with propane and gas is very scary but you didn’t skip a beat and managed to prevent further tragedy from happening. To our friends and customers who stayed there with us, your presence made the situation more bearable. We are forever grateful. I’m not really sure what t...o say in a situation like this as we are still trying to accept that this actually happened, it doesn’t seem real quite yet. Our regulars, you have become a part of my daily life and I’m going to miss you guys so much. The support you have showed for our business has been truly touching. You guys are so appreciated, we couldn’t have made it the passed 2 and a half years without you. It’s funny how most of you have become part of my daily routine, a chat in the morning during a coffee or catching up at the end of the day. The perks of being a part of a small community. With that being said we are not giving up, we hope to be back sooner than later and we can’t wait to see everyone again.
